USS Cleveland is an American WWII light cruiser and the lead ship of the most numerous class of light cruisers ever built. Coming soon to War Thunder naval forces, Captains will have the chance to take command of a truly legendary and no less fearsome American warship in upcoming update Starfighters!

In War Thunder, USS Cleveland will be a new rank IV American light cruiser awaiting captains in port in the upcoming update Starfighters. Being heavily based on the design of the Brooklyn-class cruisers already familiar to many captains, USS Cleveland trades some of that signature Brooklyn-class cruiser firepower for improved anti-air capabilities and greater survivability.





USS Cleveland is already steaming at flank speed for War Thunder and is expected to arrive at player ports with the release of the upcoming update. The Su-7B was developed as a new type of ground support aircraft, a fighter-bomber. We introduce a new strike aircraft for the USSR, the first jet vehicle in the glorious Sukhoi attack aircraft family!

In our game, the Su-7B will appear in the next update of War Thunder: Starfighters at rank VI in the USSR combat aviation tech tree. With this model we begin the addition of the Sukhoi attack aircraft to the game, well-known combat machines that took part in a number of armed conflicts of modern times.

The Su-7B is a supersonic attack aircraft, capable to quite effectively support ground forces in mixed battles, destroy enemy helicopters, but devoid of air-to-air guided missiles to battle the fighter-interceptors. The Su-7B reaches a maximum speed of almost Mach 2 (more than 2150 km / h), but the Su-7B has obvious problems with maneuvering at high speeds. The offensive armament of the aircraft is a pair of 30mm NR-30 cannons with a stock of 80 shells per barrel. These are well suited for the destruction of helicopters or even light vehicles - SPAAGs, IFVs, or ATGM carriers.





In general, the Su-7B is a very good aircraft for combined battles or ground attack missions at the high ranks of aviation game modes. It is not perfect, but has its own useful and distinctive role in the game. The Su-7B will appear in our hangars with the release of the next update of War Thunder: Starfighters very soon. • Some rare bugs related to game crashes have been fixed for the following situations:

  • During connection to an already ongoing battle.
• Game crashes when using stream and replay features have been fixed.
  
• Game crash on a Mac client game start has been fixed.

The current provided changelog reflects the major changes within the game as part of this Update. Some updates, additions and fixes may not be listed in the provided notes. War Thunder is constantly improving and specific fixes may be implemented without the client being updated.

The Type 93 is a Japanese 1990’s wheeled SAM vehicle, developed for the JGSDF as a modern replacement for conventional gunned SPAA units. Coming soon to War Thunder with update Starfighter, the Type 93 will reinforce the top ranks of the Japanese ground tree and provide lethal anti-air cover for its allies on the ground!

In War Thunder, the Type 93, apart from being a deadly Japanese 610mm torpedo in naval battles, will now also take on the form of a no less lethal surface-to-air missile platform in ground battles, following the release of the upcoming update. Although SAM vehicles have been a part of War Thunder ground battles for some time now, Japanese tankers had to wait a little longer before getting their hands on such advanced tech, but the Type 93 now aims to make this wait worthwhile!





On a different note, weighing in at just 2.6 tons and being powered by a 150 horsepower diesel engine, the Type 93 offers its aspiring commanders unparalleled mobility, being able to achieve a top speed of 125 km/h on paved roads. As a result, the Type 93 will become the new record holder for being the fastest ground vehicle in War Thunder upon its arrival to the game with the next major update Starfighters!
