[Development] CV 90105 TML



The CV 90105 TML is an experimental light tank, developed in the mid 1990s as part of a joint venture between the Swedish Hägglunds and French GIAT companies. Arriving as part of the Swedish ground forces tree with War Thunder update 1.97 ‘Viking Fury’, tankers can look forward to commanding this unique piece of Swedish ground tech!

In War Thunder, the CV 90105 TML will be the top ranking premium vehicle, available at rank VI of the upcoming Swedish ground forces tree with the release of update 1.97 ‘Viking Fury’. Compared to the standard version of the Strf 90, this experimental version of the vehicle features a different turret, housing a bigger caliber cannon as well as offering the usual premium reward bonuses, thus speeding up progress towards acquiring the top tier Swedish ground tech!





Contrasted with the standard Strf 90, also available to tankers in the regular tree under the name ‘Strf 90C’, the CV 90105 is a further development of the vehicle, featuring an upgraded version of the GIAT TML turret. The new turret also houses the vehicle’s second most notable upgrade - the larger 105mm G2 cannon with stabilizer.

[Development] T-72B (1985): Necessary Improvements



A new Soviet top rank tank with good frontal protection and guided munitions will burst into high rank battles with the release of the War Thunder update 1.97 “Viking Fury”!

By the middle of the 1980s, there was an objective need to upgrade the main battle tank of the Soviet Union - T-72 to modern battle performance values. The fact is that the vehicle seriously lacked firepower and modern fire control systems and its protection which wasn’t bad at the time of conception, became obsolete due to the emergence of new powerful weapons. The big tank modernization program implied a comprehensive improvement of the T-72 in all its key characteristics.





T-72B will be one of the stars of the upcoming War Thunder update 1.97 “Viking Fury” and definitely deserves the attention of all tankers. The patch is already approaching very soon, follow the news!

[Development] Lightning F.6: Saddled to a Skyrocket!



The English Electric Lightning is a British supersonic Cold War jet fighter and remains to date one of the few British domestically built aircraft, capable of reaching Mach 2. War Thunder pilots may look forward to the arrival of the long awaited and much anticipated Lightning, coming soon to the game with update 1.97!

In War Thunder, the highly anticipated Lightning will be a new jet fighter, arriving at rank VI of the British aviation tree. Coming to the game in the form of one of its later variants, the sleek Lightning F.6 will await seasoned British aviators in the upcoming update 1.97 as the new crowning jewel of the British aviation tree! [Development] Kamov Ka-29: Nimble Fatboy



The Ka-29 is an assault transport variant of the Soviet Ka-27 anti-submarine warfare helicopter, developed in the mid 1970s by the Kamov Design Bureau. Coming to War Thunder as part of the upcoming update 1.97, the Ka-29 will give fans of rotorcraft the chance to pilot a unique and no less deadly new Soviet avian predator!

In War Thunder, the Ka-29 will be a new attack helicopter coming to Rank VI of the Soviet helicopter tree with update 1.97. In stark contrast to other Soviet rotorcraft, the Ka-29 is a much smaller, more agile and nimble machine, lacking some of the more advanced technology offered by its bigger comrades, yet still packing a formidable punch which is not to be underestimated.





The Ka-29 is soon arriving to rank VI of the Soviet helicopter tree with update 1.97 and will give pilots the chance to try out a different take on Soviet rotorcraft design.
