[/p][p]Mad King Redemption combines arcade-style fighting with in-depth roguelite progression in a visually stylized 2D (2.5D) setting. Each time you play, you will face enemies that have been changed into corrupted forms, make risky decisions for yourself and your team, and adapt as you go through dungeons that are constantly changing.[/p][hr][/hr][p]How can I get in on the Playtest? The kingdom has fallen into chaos after the King attempted to resurrect the Queen using forbidden magic. The ritual went horribly wrong, corrupting the land and driving him into madness. As heroes of the realm, you must fight through the forces born from that corruption and try to bring an end to the King’s reign.[/p][hr][/hr][p]Is Mad King Redemption single-player or multiplayer? How does co-op affect gameplay? [/p][p]You may play alone or with a friend via Local Co-op. When players join your session, the game scales the experience in both resource management and difficulty.[/p][hr][/hr][p]How many playable characters are there?[/p][p]Early Access will launch with four playable heroes, each designed with their own combat style, stats, abilities, and background.[/p][hr][/hr][p]What is the Corruption system?[/p][p]Throughout your journey, you will be tempted to use the Mad King’s forbidden powers. Every time you tap into these abilities, your Corruption Bar increases. When the bar fills, your hero enters an Overdose Phase, temporarily transforming into a powerful corrupted version with unique abilities tied to that character. After the transformation ends, your hero enters a Crash phase, leaving them exhausted and vulnerable while the corruption drains away. Timing when to embrace corruption can mean the difference between victory and disaster.[/p][hr][/hr][p]What are mounts?[/p][p]During runs, you may encounter mounts that can be used to move quickly through the dungeon and crush enemies. Some enemies ride mounts as well. If you knock them off, you can steal the mount and use it yourself.[/p][hr][/hr][p]What enemies can players expect?[/p][p]Early Access will include 16 unique enemies, including bosses, each designed with distinct behaviors, attacks, and combat roles.[/p][hr][/hr][p]What content will be available in Early Access?[/p][p]The Early Access version is planned to include:[/p]
