The Lumines Arise Original Soundtrack Drops this February, Third Single Out Now

[p][/p][p]All right, Lumines Arise players. Thank you for being here with us on the first week—we hope you’ve been having a great time with the game. If you have a moment, it’d help a lot if you could leave us a review on Steam. OK, now onto the main event![/p][p]With the weekend approaching, it’s time for our very first Weekend Loomii Live event! Pon and special Loomii avatar rewards await you for taking part![/p][h3]Save the Dates(s)[/h3][p]For 72 hours starting at noon UTC on Friday to noon UTC on Monday every weekend, a giant Vision arrives in the Multiplayer Hub with a challenge. Each week, a different Vision will materialize. Can the community generate enough Light together to meet its goal?[/p][h3]How to Participate[/h3][p]Play ANY mode in the Multiplayer Hub. From the single-player Leaderboard League, Time Attack, Dig Down, Quick Burst, Burst Battle, either online ranked or in custom rooms, locally, or versus the CPU—everything in the Hub contributes Light to the goal. And, encourage your friends to play too; even PlayStation 5 players contribute to the same goal.[/p][h3]What Happens[/h3][p]As you play, you can view your personal Light contributions, as well as the current progress of the community goal, in the upper left corner of the screen. At various milestones, the Vision and the Multiplayer Hub will change. As the Hub becomes more vibrant, you might even notice you can interact in new ways.[/p][h3]What Do I Get?[/h3][p]Rewards are a special Loomii headpiece, themed around the week’s Vision and Pon, which you can use to roll for additional avatar rewards.[/p][p]We hope you’ll join us for this first event and every weekend after. There are a dozen unique Loomii rewards for you to collect, and it’s a great reason to hop into a Vs CPU match, or do Time Attack in the Leaderboard League, even if you’re not a fan of playing online against real people.[/p]

[p][/p][p]Here we go—Lumines Arise is now available on Steam with optional VR play (via compatible headsets). Whether you're playing Lumines for the first time or you're an experienced fan, we hope you enjoy everything the game has to offer. Hopefully you also noticed that for the first two weeks we're offering a launch discount on Steam—10% off![/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]We're also Steam Deck verified, and Lumines Arise makes a fantastic portable game (tho' you may want to head into the options and set the Camera to Near or Very Near and text size to 120% if it isn't already).[/p][p]To get you started in Lumines Arise on the right foot, here are a couple of suggestions![/p][h3]Play the tutorial (Please?)[/h3][p]It's been a minute since the last new Lumines game, and maybe it's been a while since you played one. The game will ask you if you want to play it the first time you enter Journey mode. We think you should, even if you've played Lumines before! [/p][p]However, if you skipped it or want to play it over again because you missed something, it's available in Missions/Training Missions (it's the very first one!). We also HIGHLY recommend coming back and trying out the other Training Missions to help get more in a Lumines state of mind. There are 60 repeatable scenarios in there that'll help you get a deeper understanding of the mechanics.[/p][h3]Adjust the settings to your liking[/h3][p]Head into options and explore the Gameplay and Accessibility options to tweak the intensity of visual effects, playfield zooming/tilting, playfield opacity and more. We want you to be able to play comfortably, whether you like the effects to stay at 2 or cranked up to 11![/p][h3]No-Stress Lumines lets you play without worry[/h3][p]If you're a little overwhelmed and want to play without stress, head into Options, Accessibility, and turn on No-Stress Lumines. This option has three settings. The first won't drop blocks into the playfield automatically, so you can take your time deciding where to place them. The second clears the playfield instead of giving you a game over. And the third is both of those together if you're getting your feet wet with the gameplay. Note that your scores will not be registered on leaderboards with these settings enabled.[/p][h3]Don't be too concerned about misdrops[/h3][p]Lumines is a more instinct-driven puzzle game than you might be used to. Don't worry too much about misdrops! The playfield is large, and you won't top out/get a game over until every piece of the playfield is full. If you're about to top out, use Burst (as long as it's charged to at least 50%) to try and save yourself.[/p][h3]See a bug? Please tell us![/h3][p]If you run into a bug, please tell us about it! Try as we might, we probably didn't squash ALL the bugs prior to launch. If you run into something that doesn't look right, consider hopping into the Steam forums to tell us about it or file an official support ticket.
