Luna’s Boss Diary: Darby The Beaver

Hey, adventurers—Luna here! As you journey through The Magical World with Niko and me, you’ll come across dangerous and devious Bosses! I’ve been making notes on every dastardly foe we see to help out our fellow adventurers.

First up: Darby the Beaver!
Darby The Beaver
Darby is certainly one angry beaver! Niko and I ventured into Skyward Falls without knowing what awaited us. Unfortunately, Niko’s headstrong attitude got us into trouble almost immediately—Darby thought we destroyed the dam he’s been obsessively building near his river home!

Luckily, we had Todd the Toad on our side to hop us safely out of his reach while we fought off his attempts to avenge his fallen dam. We jumped higher and higher as Darby sent humongous waves to pull us underwater to our doom, destroying our projectiles.

Darby became enraged, and his attacks grew so strong that we weren’t sure we’d make it to adventure another day! However, we bested the furry beast and lived to tell this tale.

Niko and I wish you luck in your battles with each fearsome foe you meet. Luna, signin’ off!

Luna’s Boss Diary: Robokong

Hey adventurers, Luna here! As you journey through The Magical World with Niko and me, you’ll come across dangerous and devious Bosses! I’ve been making notes on every dastardly foe we see to help out our fellow adventurers.

Time to put the pedal to the metal! Next up: Robokong!
Robokong
Snowland may be cold, but its landscapes are beautiful enough to warm even the iciest heart! As we traversed the land and sea across this realm, we overcame flooded caves, geysers, and steep cliffs, but nothing as perilous as what would come next.

While taking a breather from our hike in a cave, we met one of the Baron’s henchmen—Screwy—who told us three devious monkeys stole his robot while he was napping, and that we should be on the lookout for any stray metal machines. We wouldn’t have to wait long. Niko spotted a banana, and as he munched on his snack, the monkeys appeared to avenge their fallen food!

You’ve heard of three monkeys in a trenchcoat, but trust me—three monkeys in a robot is much scarier and way less funny! Niko and I began hurling explosive barrels and dynamite at Robokong, dodging its punches and jumping over its spinning arm attacks.

Just when we thought we were out of the woods, Robokong appeared above us, and shaky platforms emerged underneath me and Niko from the lava below–talk about a molten point of contention! Robokong unleashed powerful hammer strikes that smashed more and more sections of the ground beneath us.

Robokong was tough, but we made it out with only a little bit of singed fur. He meant (monkey) business!

Niko and I wish you luck in your battles with each fearsome foe you meet. Luna, signin’ off!
