[p]Multiple save slots added. You no longer have to sacrifice collected relics to start a new run — try New Game challenges freely.[/p]
[p]Steam Cloud support is now live — your progress travels with you.[/p]

[p][/p][p][/p][h2]Lighting improvements[/h2][p]Lighting has been improved and fixed across all stages.[/p][carousel][/carousel][p][/p][h2]New settings[/h2][p]Two new toggles have been added under Additional Settings:[/p]

[p]Show Center Dot – Helps with aiming precise dashes or spatial orientation.[/p]
[p]Hide Wings – Some players found them distracting, so now you can disable them entirely.[/p]

[p][/p][h2]Fixes and Tweaks[/h2][p]Here are the most noticeable improvements:[/p]

[p]Fixed player's leg clipping into the camera during dash.[/p]
[p]Heart stage layout updated: sections 2 and 3 have been swapped for better pacing. skip?[/p]
[p]Fixed finish line triggers on multiple stages.[/p]
[p]Fixed snakes' visuals and lighting.[/p]

[p][/p][h2]Roadmap Sneak Peek[/h2][p]We're working hard to take Blessed Burden even further. Here's what’s on the horizon, in rough order of priority:[/p]

[p]Fix slide spam abuse - the highest priority task that changes core game mechanics. There is currently a discussion in our Discord server about that: https://discord.gg/t5s68qpD5J [/p]
[p]New localizations. Japanese and Chinese (Simplified) are the first to come.[/p]
[p]Add new game modes/difficulties:[/p]
- [p]Casual (the current game mode)[/p]
- [p]Challenging (fewer checkpoints, 3 deaths lead to a restart of the stage)[/p]
- [p]Ghostrun (any death leads to a stage restart)[/p]
- [p]Helldive (any death resets a game and starts from the beginning)[/p]
[p]Official Steam Deck support[/p]
[p]Add an in-game ranking for completing the stage based on time. Like bronze, silver, gold medals, etc.[/p]
[p]Ghost replays – race your own or others' past runs.[/p]
[p]Add legit skips to some annoying stages, like Facility.[/p]
[p]Add new secrets on the levels that are optional and do not affect upgrades. Some of them will be possible to find only with full upgrades.[/p]
[p]Add some customization options. Currently, pants and shoes are being discussed. Would love to hear your ideas on that![/p]
