v1.07 Patch Notes

Balance adjustments:

  • Increased the damage of all spells.
  • Reduced the damage of all enemy units after day 20.
  • Reduced the revival time for all allied units (especially for units with cheaper barrack prices).

v1.06 Patch Notes

The logic for generating new tiles has been adjusted:

  • Reduced the probability of consecutive repeated tiles.
  • Reduced the probability of consecutive complex tiles.

v1.05 Patch Notes

  • You can quickly restart the game from the end screen now (except for Roguelike Challenge).
  • You can adjust the scene brightness and environmental volume (water and bird sounds) in the settings menu now.
  • You can disable edge scrolling in the settings menu now.
  • Fixed an issue where allied units would sometimes get stuck when spawned from barracks.
  • Fixed an issue where closing portals did not grant corresponding achievements for "killing enemies/boats/mounted enemies/flying enemies/bosses".
  • Fixed an issue where The Carrack (boss) might cause abnormal calculation of enrage levels.
  • Fixed an issue where building barracks while the game was paused, and then immediately selling them, would generate ghost units.
  • Increased the damage of Light Tower, Dark Tower, Master of Light and Master of Dark.
  • Increased the output of Mausoleum Of Mausolus and Taj Mahal.
  • Reduced the maximum HP of the Bishop.


Upcoming features:
  • Set priority attack targets for towers/barracks.
  • Customize shortcuts.

Additional supported languages added to Hexguardian!

Hello Guardians!

We are ecstatic to see so many people playing and enjoying Hexguardian! We want to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported the game.

We are also pleased to announce we have added additional languages to Hexguardian. You will now be able to play the game in the following languages:
  • French
  • German
  • Spanish
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Russian
  • Portuguese (Brazil).

We're excited to bring the game to a new audience who may not have picked it up previously due to it not being supported in these languages!

We've also been working on a whole host of other improvements including:
  • Improved camera zoom allowing you to zoom out much further to get a full view of the map
  • Ultrawide support: the game will now display better on monitors with a wider aspect ratio
  • You are now able to rotate the camera
  • A whole host of balance changes and bug fixes

and we will continue to work on other improvements and fixes into the future!

We've also made major changes to the demo, bringing all the quality you have come to expect from the full game but with limited free content.

Patch Notes v1.03

  • Removed the limit on zooming out the camera, now the camera can zoom out to the maximum distance.
  • Added support for ultra-wide screen displays, now the game can be displayed properly on ultra-wide screens.
  • Fixed the bug where sandstorms would cause a significant amount of damage to friendly units in the late game (now the damage to friendly units does not increase with the number of days).
  • Fixed the issue where upgrading cards was prone to accidental touches (now requires a 1.5-second delay before clicking).
  • Fixed the bug on the Rockland map where the melee barracks rally point couldn't be moved to the roads between the canyons.
  • Increased the maximum health and attack power of all friendly melee units.
  • Increased the damage dealt by spells (especially in the late game).
  • Decreased the maximum HP and armor of enemy ships.
  • Reduced the probability of getting oasis tiles and single-road/single-river tiles appearing in this week's "Crazy Portal" challenge (it isn't changed in normal games).
