Luminous Skies: A Short Adventure News

Luminous Skies Discounts, Steam Winter Sale, Update, Price Drops

[p]We currently have a 20% discount for Luminous Skies: Interstellar and The Pilgrimage. There is also an 80% discount on Luminous Skies: Horizons. And of course, if you're thinking about picking up one of the DLCs, why not pick up all of them? There's an even deeper discount if you buy in bulk. If you were on the fence, this is your opportunity to buy them all. These deals last until January 5th. [/p][p][/p][p]Update: Luminous Skies: Horizons[/p][p]Spellsword class has been added as an option for Briar. This can be done by interacting with one of the books on a table in Citra's Estate, near the town of Shorehaven (that's in the starting overworld). This class is mostly a damage dealer with some support abilities. It was designed to be very simple, in that, there aren't many weapons needed to swap between to use all of your skills (though arguably the Ranger could do that, if the player was dual wielding two different weapons).[/p][p][/p][p]This update will be posted in the previous patch notes as well.[/p][p][/p][p]Price Drops:[/p][p]Luminous Skies: The Pilgrimage - $8.99 or regional equivalent.[/p][p]Luminous Skies: Interstellar - $9.99 or regional equivalent.[/p][p]Seeing as I was going to do this starting in 2026, I just did it now since the sale goes until the 5th. The Interstellar DLC should be at that price for the foreseeable future.[/p][p]If you're unsure, the demo, A Short Adventure, would be a fair gauge if you as a player may or may not want to pick up the full games. It's free.

Luminous Skies: Update December '25 and Sale until the 5th

[p][/p][p]Horizons Update:[/p][p]Some updates are to fill in parts missing that I either thought of and didn't mention or were briefly mentioned in the base demo or any of the DLCs. In this case, the Routine Express was briefly mentioned in The Pilgrimage DLC. So I went through and made an interior for their workshop. With the right party members, the player will see that the Routine Express will post anything in their publication, no matter how outrageous. Setting areas like this up, can lead to me coming up with more ideas to expand upon in the future. After all, even though they're tabloid journalists, a broken clock can be right twice a day. They can be found in the Imperial Capitol.[/p][p][/p][p]January Update Notes:[/p][p]Update: Luminous Skies: Horizons[/p][p]Spellsword class has been added as an option for Briar. Luminous Skies: Update November '25

[p][/p][p][/p][p]Added a new zone has been added into Horizons. To get there (from the Western Isles), go to the port and select "Imperial Capitol" or "Frost Port" to reach the mainland of the Old World. When there, head south until you find an Imperial Training ground. On the eastern side of these grounds, there is a world gate, that you can select various outposts on other worlds to visit. Select the East Outpost. Once at the Eastern Outpost, head south west into the desert region until you nearly reach the western coast. At the north west side of the lake, there should be a new tropical zone. When I was initially making achievements, ones for The Pilgrimage and Interstellar were considered as well. They were ultimately scrapped but this means that players are getting more content as a result, enjoy the crab rave. The boss encounter in Horizons was a Giant Hostile Crab and a cybernetic counterpart can be found in Interstellar*.[/p][p][/p][p]*It was a monster that was kit-bashed together after seeing a similar monster in another JRPG that never got a western release. Aww... why does Japan get all the cool monsters? I thought shortly before realizing, Wait, I can make that![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Two achievements have been added. The first one is defeating the Big Hostile Crab (see above) and the other is defeating a corrupt noble (see below).[/p][p][/p][p]Go to the port and select "Imperial Capitol" or "Frost Port" to reach the mainland of the Old World. When there, head out into the overworld and follow the path into the eastern frontier (either by going east or south east depending on which port you ended up at). Once out of the initial mountain ranges, head north along the eastern side of these mountains and you should run across a keep where this pillaging noble resides. Or if you've completed the quest "Imperial Nobility" (talk to the Queen at the Imperial Capitol with Cass in your party to start it), simply open up and scroll through your "Journals \[Story Arcs]" document and it will activate if you have completed the quest.[/p][p][/p][p]The aforementioned achievement has a mission similar to it in the Interstellar DLC, wherein the player has to opportunity rob a bank. While it was scrapped from having an achievement linked to it, I found it worth noting that there are more areas like this, if you've only picked up the Horizons DLC. That and who doesn't want to rob a payment processer (in-game)?[/p][p][/p][p]If you're unsure, the demo, A Short Adventure, would be a fair gauge if you as a player may or may not want to pick up the full games.
