Made adjustments for weapon damage types for Luminous Skies: A Short Adventure, Horizons, The Pilgrimage, and Interstellar.
Physical damage now represents blunt force damage. Batons, maces, staves, and fists fall under this category.
Slashing damage covers: swords [wooden ones too], daggers, and axes.
Penetration damage covers: spears, bows, crossbows, and firearms.
The effect of this is less than when an enemy is weak to a specific element. The reasoning for this is that damage dealing characters and their skills were balanced not to have excessive additional damage from vulnerabilities such as these, as opposed to elemental damage. For example, the Guardian / Vanguard / Defender can one shot a grunt on harder difficulty with a critical hit, especially if the enemy target has been debuffed.
But it does, nonetheless, give some additional texture to the game. Armored targets are vulnerable to penetration damage. Most people and creatures are vulnerable to slashing damage. The rest are vulnerable to blunt physical damage. For example, in Interstellar, switching to a gun will do more damage to robots and switching to a slashing weapon [shiv, chainsaw, and energy dagger] will do more damage to fleshy targets. In Horizons and A Short Adventure, an armored soldier will be vulnerable to a Guardian's Spear and a ragged bandit will be vulnerable to a Guardian's Axe.
Added a conversation to Horizons, visit the Temple of Light in Frostwind with Elicia and Maylis. In addition, Maylis' Notebook has been added as a personal item for her to equip.
