Progression and quality of life Update

Greetings everyone,

We're thrilled to have you with us during the Early Access phase of our game. Your feedback helps us toward making this game the best it can be, so keep it coming!

After reading all of your feedback and prioritizing what were the biggest pain points, we felt that changes were needed.

We are working on an update that we are aiming to release next week that will address our most frequent comments from the community. Meanwhile, we are releasing a first patch that includes quality-of-life upgrades and progression improvements.

Here are the main changes in this first patch:

  1. Ability Level-Up & Rarity Adjustments: We've made the ability upgrades more significant in terms of numbers and visual perception. XP needed to level up during an adventure doubled, but power gains per level-up significantly increased for more impactful choices.

  2. Attack Slots Selection: Choose your first ability at the beginning of your run; no more automatic selection.

  3. Chests: We felt like there were too many chests per floor, making a run more about chest chasing. We adjusted the spawn rate to make the gameplay sessions more dynamic. We also adjusted the rewards you get when killing bosses and mini-bosses.

  4. Dice Roll Skip in Chest UI: We added the option to skip the animation to directly get the result of a roll. You should also know that you can completely skip animations in the Options menu of the game.
