Path of Exile: Lake of Kalandra Launch Twitch Drops

We're very excited about the upcoming launch of Path of Exile: Lake of Kalandra on August 19th PDT, during which you'll be able to earn the Arcane Footprints and Arcane Throne Decoration with Twitch drops. If you haven't already done so, be sure to link your Path of Exile account with your Twitch account!
How to Participate
Just simply link your Path of Exile account to Twitch (see below) and watch any Path of Exile stream on Twitch* between 1pm Friday August 19th and 1pm Monday August 22nd PDT.

You will get the Arcane Footprints after 1 hour of accumulated watch time and the Arcane Throne Decoration after 3 hours of accumulated watch time on any channel streaming Path of Exile during the event. This means that the drops are guaranteed for everyone who has watched any Path of Exile stream for this amount of time. This promotion is available for all accounts.

*If you're planning to stream Path of Exile during the launch of Lake of Kalandra and want to enable Twitch Drops for your viewers, you can do it via your Twitch Creator Dashboard here.
Linking your Path of Exile Account to Twitch
Visit your Twitch Settings page while logged in. If your account isn't connected, click the "Connect" button for Twitch under "Other Connections". Complete the process on Twitch and you will be redirected back to your Twitch Settings page. If your account is already connected, this page should say "Your Path of Exile account is currently linked to your Twitch account."

After you've accumulated enough watch time to earn your Arcane Footprints and Arcane Throne Decoration, you must redeem them from your Twitch Inventory before the promotional period ends. Then they will be available in your microtransactions list in Path of Exile.

We can't wait to enjoy the launch of Path of Exile: Lake of Kalandra with you all!

Lake of Kalandra Boss Kill Event

To celebrate the launch of Lake of Kalandra, we're hosting a Boss Kill Event where Path of Exile players can compete within each Ascendancy Class to kill the Uber Pinnacle Bosses in Kalandra Hardcore SSF mode.

Prizes are awarded to the first player in each Ascendancy Class who complete all seven Uber Pinnacle Boss Encounters:
 • The Uber Eater of Worlds
 • The Uber Searing Exarch
 • The Uber Maven
 • Uber Sirus
 • Uber Venarius
 • Uber Uber Elder
 • Uber Shaper
Prizes for First Overall
• Alienware Laptop with Exclusive Path of Exile Skin
 • Transferable Ultra VIP Ticket to ExileCon (Ticket only - flights and accommodation are not included. This ticket can be gifted or sold to others if you're unable to attend)
Prizes for 2nd and Third Overall
• Transferable VIP Ticket to ExileCon (Ticket only - flights and accommodation are not included. This ticket can be gifted or sold to others if you're unable to attend)
If you haven't already won the following from placing first in your Ascendancy Class, you'll also receive:
 • Full Nightfall Microtransaction Ensemble - Armour Set, Weapon Skin, Weapon Effect, Portal, Footprints, Pet, Character Effect
 • 10 codes for the Dragon Hunter Portal to give to friends
 • Exclusive Godslayer's Pride Microtransaction
Prizes for all other First in Ascendancy Class
• Full Nightfall Microtransaction Ensemble - Armour Set, Weapon Skin, Weapon Effect, Portal, Footprints, Pet, Character Effect
 • 10 codes for the Dragon Hunter Portal to give to friends
 • Exclusive Godslayer's Pride Microtransaction
Due to HC SSF player populations on Console realms, the competition will run in the equivalent SC SSF (non-HC) Kalandra league for Console players. In addition, console prizes will not be awarded per Ascendancy class.
Console Prizes
The first three players to beat the above bosses on Xbox and PlayStation will win the following:
 • Full Nightfall Microtransaction Ensemble - Armour Set, Weapon Skin, Weapon Effect, Portal, Footprints, Pet, Character Effect
 • 10 codes for the Dragon Hunter Portal to give to friends
 • Exclusive Godslayer's Pride Microtransaction
Additional Rules:
• If there are operational problems with the event (like significant realm stability issues at launch), Grinding Gear Games may restart the event at any point. The way we will do this is to create a new event league and indicate that players who wish to compete in the new event must make new characters there.
 • Players who migrate from a private league to the event league during the event are ineligible for prizes.
 • Placings and prize eligibility are entirely at the discretion of Grinding Gear Games.
 • While the event being SSF reduces a lot of scope for outside help, any form of account sharing (or other breaches of the Terms of Use) will disqualify a player from receiving prizes.
 • Grinding Gear Games Employees (past or present) are not eligible for prizes.
 • Players who have played on the Alpha realm since August 11th 2022 (when the expansion was first deployed) are not eligible for prizes.
 • Changing your Ascendancy Class during this event will cause you to be disqualified from earning prizes.
 • You must kill all seven pinnacle bosses on a single character. Accumulating kills between characters will not count.
 • Dying or migrating your character out of the league doesn't remove prize eligibility as long as the kill occurred while in the league.

How do I get my ticket?
We'll be releasing the first wave of tickets at 2pm PDT on August 25. These will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. You can purchase up to two tickets per Path of Exile account. If you'd like to purchase more, please contact customer support. There will be at least one more (likely smaller) wave of ticket sales later on, which we'll also announce in advance. Last time, the Ultra VIP and VIP tickets sold out extremely quickly. This time they are more expensive, but may still sell out fast. Be around at the exact time that they go on sale to increase your chances you can get some.

Note that upgrading between ticket types is supported, so there's no harm in buying a regular ticket to start with. If we add more VIP ones later you may be able to upgrade.

ExileCon is a Restricted 16 event and the party is a Restricted 18 event. You must have photo ID showing your age to enter. You must supply a name for each ticket that matches the photo ID you show when picking the ticket up and entering the venue.
Tickets can be picked up while the event is open, or on the Friday beforehand during specific hours.

Path of Exile Race Event
In the leadup to ExileCon, we'll be hosting a series of race events as qualifiers for the grand finale. Players who qualify to compete in the grand finale will be flown to New Zealand to compete live on the main stage during ExileCon. More details to come.

Swag Bags, Merchandise and and Exclusive Microtransaction
Each attendee will receive a swag bag upon arrival at the event, including a map of the venue and some other surprises! We'll have a fresh line of merchandise available at the event that will be offered to attendees first before we make any remaining stock available to the wider community. Your swag bag also includes an exclusive in-game microtransaction that won't be available anywhere else. You must physically attend the event to receive this microtransaction.

Other things to do in New Zealand
New Zealand is renowned for its beautiful outdoors, mountains, beaches and forests. You can visit Hobbiton, the Waitomo Caves, Piha Beach, museums, the Sky Tower and visit other Lord of the Rings set locations. Find out more on the New Zealand tourism website.

Please note that late July is winter in New Zealand. Winters in Auckland are mild but other more-southern parts of New Zealand have popular snow activities, so consider adding a trip to a ski field to your visit!

COVID-19 Precautions
New Zealand has historically had strong restrictions in response to COVID-19. While these have eased, they may be reintroduced if a more dangerous variant of COVID-19 begins to circulate. In this event, it may limit the convention from going ahead and/or travellers from entering the country.

While we will refund your event tickets in this scenario, the majority of your costs may be international flights and accommodation, which we cannot reimburse you for. It's important to be aware of these risks when planning your travel. Discuss the refundability rules with your hotel, airline and travel insurance provider.

Closer to the time of the convention, we will announce the event's COVID-19 safety protocols that align with the pandemic situation at that time. For more information about COVID-19 safety when travelling to New Zealand, check out the NZ government website here.
