Good Luck

Hi, everyone. The written test for the 2024 Teacher Certification Test (second half of the year) is coming up soon. How's everyone's preparation going?

First of all, I wish everyone success in the exam!

Now, let me share some of my exam experiences with you.
Subject One
Starting with Subject One (I took the middle school level Subject One):

1. The most, most, most important thing is to finish writing the essay. You might have not written much for a while, so try writing an essay before the exam to gauge your timing. Don't spend all your time on the three major questions and leave no time for the essay. Also, make sure to meet the word count!
2. The first two of the three major questions cover relatively fixed content, so focus on memorizing them before the exam. But if a question involves additional knowledge points, don't panic. Just answer based on your understanding.
3. Preparation before the exam. I would focus on memorizing the key points and corresponding answer templates for the major questions, such as "The behavior of teacher XXX in the material reflects the XXX principle of moral education, where XXX refers to blablabla." Then, I would quickly review the previous incorrect multiple-choice questions using a practice app like Fenbi (if cramming at the last minute, just go through them quickly). For the literacy questions (authors of various classics, ethnic costumes, etc.), I just go with the flow...
Subject Two
Next is Subject Two. Theoretically, it's difficult to cram for Subject Two because there's so much content.
But the good thing about Subject Two is that as long as you've memorized it, even if you forget some things during the exam, it's still relatively easy to pass.
So my suggestions are mainly for those who haven't prepared very well:

1. If you really haven't prepared well, I suggest roughly going through the short-answer/discrimination questions that need to be memorized to leave an impression. Ideally, try to understand the logic behind the knowledge points (for example, "Briefly describe the work of a class teacher." As long as you understand it, even if you haven't memorized it, you can still answer well based on your understanding of a class teacher's responsibilities).
2. Practice the multiple-choice questions for Subject Two (you can use the Fenbi app) and try to retain more impressions of various concepts.
3. Time is usually sufficient for Subject Two. Start with the discrimination, short-answer, and material questions that you know how to answer, then go back and fill in the ones you don't know based on your own understanding!

ps
I don't have any special experience to share for Subject Three, so I'll skip it.

Everyone, let's cheer each other on! Also, don't forget to print out your admission ticket and bring your ID card!
