In today's Steam post, we wanted to showcase some of the characters in Nice Day for Fishing and their in-game pixel art character models!
[h2]🎣 Baelin The Fisherman[/h2]
[h3]Catchphrase: "Morning! Nice day for fishing ain't it? Hua hah!"[/h3]
No surprises here! 😄 As we revealed in our Announcement Trailer, in our fishing adventure game, you'll play as Baelin, the NPC fisherman defending the town of Honeywood the only way he knows how! However, something's different...
As all adventurers of Azerim vanish mysteriously, Baelin must rise to the challenge and become the hero of Honeywood! Play as Baelin, exploring the enchanting lands of Azerim and fighting in epic fishing battles... because, you know, nice day for fishing, ain't it? 🎣
[h2]🧄 Greg the Garlic Farmer[/h2]
[h3]Catchphrase: "Ah! Hello Adventurer and welcome to the Town of Honeywood!"[/h3]
Greg The Garlic Farmer, who comes from a long line of garlic farmers, is a character you meet at the beginning of your journey!
Greg runs his shop in the town of Honeywood, which sells garlic and other baits! Baits, like garlic and worms, can be used to catch different types of fish in Epic NPC Man Nice Day for Fishing, so visit Greg's shop to purchase more!
And whilst you're there... let's hope no sheep have run amok! 🐑
[h2]⚒️ Bodger The Blacksmith[/h2]
[h3]Catchphrase: "Ssssccooooooootlaaaaaand!"[/h3]
In the town of Honeywood, you'll find Bodger at his Blacksmith store, likely antagonising Greg the Garlic Farmer! 🤭 Bodger is a talented blacksmith with the training to make such intricate and complicated sets of armour and weapons... which he may mention!
At his Blacksmith store, you can purchase various fishing rods, which feature health and strength stats, to assist you in your defence of Honeywood!
Also, Bodger's grandfather's hammer is missing. Where could it be? 🔨 🤔
[h3]Character Sound Bites & Reddit Teaser[/h3]
And a lot of questions from our Announcement Trailer have come up around voice acting. We want to clarify that the game is not voice-acted but does contain sound bites from your favourite characters at the beginning of their dialogue!
