  • [p]now first tap on a card will hover it, second will interact with it.[/p]

  • [p]In the new Quadruple Down! deck: makes the 10 of Diamonds a 6 of Diamonds and the 6 of Hearts a 10 of Hearts.[/p]
[p]Previously the normal deck was harder since the Blood Donor Card would eventually drain Hearts to 0 leaving it with a low deck sum.[/p][p][/p][p]Other improvements[/p]
  • [p]changes the order that things are moved into position at the start of encounters, this makes the draw piles enter the screen smoother and at the same time, as well as slightly reducing the total time spent moving things into position.[/p]
  • [p]improves the responsiveness of input glyphs on draw and discard piles when the last card moves out of them.[/p]
  • [p]when trying to play Official Trump Card while not having enough chips the error message will now be "not enough chips" instead of "no valid target".[/p]
  • [p]makes the cards shown while previewing a starting deck hoverable.[/p]
  • [p]improvements to mouse and keyboard navigation of draw pile when foresight active.[/p]
  • [p]improves keyboard/controller navigation on the settings page.[/p]
  • [p]increased speed to move between cards by holding down a directional navigation button.[/p]
  • [p]performance improvements to the speed of creating cards, and the time to get into game after pressing New Game or Continue buttons.[/p]

  • [p]fixes a bug where interactable Unique Chips could be interacted during card effects which could lead to a softlock.[/p]
  • [p]fixes a softlock caused by more than one Fingerprint Card trying to exploit the same Fake ID.[/p]
  • [p]fixes a softlock caused by the foe having a Foil King of the World and at least one more Foil Face card.[/p]
  • [p]fixes a bug where Diamond in the Rough could set shields to briefly be negative.[/p]

  • [p]changes engine render mode to prevent a bug where the screen was black other than the mouse cursor.[/p]
[p]In v1.4.1 we made a change to the engine render mode to better support older devices, but this introduced a new rendering issue where the screen would be displayed black other than the mouse cursor. So we're changing back to the same renderer that v1.4 used, and anyone that has the "white screen" bug that was in v1.4 can now swap render modes by putting "--rendering-driver opengl3" (without the "") into the launch arguments for the game in Steam.[/p][p][/p][p]Damage sound effects[/p]
  • [p]these have been simplified and made to be much more natural, especially the sound effect that played on dealing 21 or more damage.[/p]
[p][/p][p]ID Card Customisation[/p]
  • [p]the fingers are now shown in greyscale when choosing to have no right hand accessory in the ID Card Customisation menu, to make it clearer that the fingers will not show during a run if you choose this option.[/p]

  • [p]fixes a bug where Glitched Card would not update the choice helper text for some cards.[/p]

  • [p]changes the no smoking setting to only visually prevent smoking but still leave the cigarette as selected customisation if it is selected - means you can swap the setting back and forth without having to also change the customisation[/p]

  • [p]the left hand moves in and out of view now instead of just appearing when cards added to hand[/p]
  • [p]smoking visuals are now changed immediately when changing the Smoking Allowed setting[/p]
  • [p]removes the requirement to save a portrait before opening the portrait file location[/p]
  • [p]improves the localised description for Jimbo[/p]
[p]**Bug fixes**[/p]
  • [p]fixes a bug where a Glitched Card rolled Wheel of Fortune X, which then drew a Glitched Card that turned into a The Lovers VI, resetting the original Glitched Card back to a default Glitched Card before it could tell the game it had finished its effect, and softlocking the encounter[/p]
  • [p]fixes a bug where the partyhorn sound effect would not play if you were using the Birthday Deck while having the right hand accessory customised to a non-partyhorn option[/p]
  • [p]fixes a bug where dialogue box could show up really big if dialogue shown twice quickly[/p]
  • [p]fixes a bug where Proxy Card text and background could show up on other cards in Slot Machine Shop after Proxy Card had been shown once[/p]
  • [p]fixes a bug where you could quit while final boss dialogue still open and continue to get one more card reward[/p]
  • [p]fixes a bug where a Red Card would be shown in your deck on the victory screen if your deck contained a Yellow Card[/p]
  • [p]fixes visual bugs when Glitched Card rolled Jack in a Box and Flash Card[/p]
