Gain Gold through Quests!

Quests
We are proud to unveil our brand new Quest system. Quests provide challenges you can complete while playing games to earn more Gold, which you can redeem in the Shop for Phantom Decks, potions, and other purchases. You will have a selection of six quests to complete each day. Once a day, if you have less than six quests, you will be assigned new quests until you have six available.

We are going free to play!
On Thursday, August 15th, we will be moving to a free-to-play model. Our vision for SolForge Fusion has always been to bring the game to as many players as possible. In making this change, we are removing barriers to entry and broadening the community for the good of all. For those that already purchased the game, you will be receiving even more rewards with details to follow shortly!

Mastery Track Changes
With the change to free-to-play, we are making some changes to the Mastery Track. New players joining the game for free will note that certain rewards on the Mastery Track are locked. These are tied to our premium Mastery Track offering. In order to unlock these rewards, players will need to visit the Shop and upgrade their Mastery Track to premium. All players who have already purchased the game and supported us on this journey will automatically have their accounts upgraded to the premium Mastery Track and should notice no change in their progress and rewards.

Bug Fixes
  • Night Apotheosis will now no longer transform when destroyed while printed abilities are removed.
  • Uterra Charger does not Battle after it is destroyed even if it has a trigger to resolve.
  • Rex creatures’ Battle triggers no longer resolve if the creature is destroyed.
  • Bartok buff no longer affects every Zombie made from Nix Nekyia’s Army of the Damned Forgeborn power.
  • Omnomnom no longer makes a zombie when played and no enemy creatures are selected. (Ex: enemy player board is empty and the spell is played.)
  • Rimehorn Charger now triggers if a creature was destroyed in the same turn.
  • Yeti Warcaller is no longer able to activate after an Exalt is moved.
  • Regia the Ironlady’s Mech Mark I and II Exalts now play in the lane where Regia was destroyed.
AI Enhancements
  • AI should not replace minions when playing multiple minions at one time.
  • AI should no longer replace Exalts on its board.
  • AI should now value playing Bartok on the first action correctly.
  • AI should now value playing Oxidon Rager adjacent to a creature correctly.
  • AI should now value playing Isolate when there is an enemy creature with no adjacent creatures correctly.

Card Bug Fixes

We have a smaller but important update as we have a collection of individual card bug fixes!

Bug Fixes
  • Slay keyword now should not trigger from destroying your own creatures.
  • Elementalist Knights exalted ability triggers correctly.
  • Duplication Dome level 3 should now target the creature with the deploy effect and not itself when gaining buffs.
  • Spiteful creatures will now target the opposing creature when destroyed.
  • Cypien Experimentation now plays a gizmo when upgraded.
  • Hantu, the Restless now says which creature is being reanimated when the player is making the choice to take damage or have the creature reanimate.
  • If both players have a card that transforms, playing their card will only transform their creature/exalt.
  • Effects like Necrotic creatures that let you play up to one creature when it is destroyed will let you say no and not play the creature.
  • Web should now blank passive abilities (card text is not blanked though when right clicked).
  • Korok - Deep Burn should successfully stop enemy players from healing.
  • Blighted Ironbeard - Shield Slam (unfortunately still the wrong name) now deals excess damage to the enemy player.
  • Blighted Ironbeard - Alloyin Steel (unfortunately still the wrong name) should now deal damage to the opposing creature.

Known Bug
  • For effects like Necrotic, if you say no, visually the creature card will stay in front of your hand until you undo an action. This is a visual bug and you still can play cards from your hand.

Potions and Gold!

Potions!

Potions are a new type of consumable you can use during a campaign run. They will give you a one-time bonus for the next encounter you face. Currently, you can receive the following potions:

  • Health Potion: You start your next encounter with +25 Health.
  • Strength Potion: All creatures in your deck have +3 Attack for the next encounter.
  • Speed Potion: All creatures in your deck have Aggressive for the next encounter.

Potions can be earned through the Player XP Rewards Track, or be purchased either in the Store or during a campaign run. Additional potions may be added over time.

In-game currency - Gold!

Gold can now be earned through the rewards on the Player XP Rewards Track and can be used either to purchase additional potions or new Phantom Decks from the Store. You can also purchase additional potions directly from your campaign.

Potions will cost players 300 gold, while a new Phantom Deck will cost 500 gold.

Players will see their total gold on the game’s main screen, within the Player XP Rewards Track, and within the Store.

Additional ways to earn gold will be coming soon!
