We’re excited to see you in the first devlog since the release of Pet Shop Simulator: Prologue! 🤩 Once again, we’d like to thank everyone for trying the Prologue version and all the feedback we’ve received from you thus far. It gave us a lot of insight into what expectations you’ve got for the game and we’re currently doing our best to make the best use of what you’ve told us! 👍

With that being said, there’s a lot to be done before the release of the full version (which will happen soon… 😏) Lots of technical work on top of the changes you’ve suggested as well as creative work such as creating models.

Prologue allowed you to see some of the animals but just as we promised, there are more available in the full version and today you can take a look at more of them!

-hamsters
-mice
-rabbits
-fishes


Those of you who already played the Prologue know very well that the animals need regular care. Keeping the cages clean and the pets well-fed is a bare minimum but some additional belly scratches or petting will surely not go unnoticed! 🐢

We’d also like to share a new object- a self-service cash register! This new item will undoubtedly help to save time and relegate the work power to other important areas of the shop. 💰

These checkouts will sometimes require either you or one of your employees to approach and authorize the purchase. This situation is indicated by a red diode over the register. 🔴 Keep in mind that the longer you make them wait for authorization, the more likely it is to make him upset and leave the shop without buying anything.

Welcome back to our pet shop! Today we’d like to talk about something you often might not even think about but plays an incredibly important role in every business- the furniture! 🪑

We’ve got a few rooms to take a closer look at so let’s get moving!

[h3]Main Hall 💲[/h3]
This is the place where all the client related part of the business takes place. That’s why in this category you’ll find items such as animal cages, aquariums, cash registers and different sized shelves.


[h3]Warehouse 📦[/h3]
The backbone of your store where all the additional items and supplies are being kept. It has to be an efficient space and with the help of storage shelves and an audio system it’ll run smoothly!


[h3]Restroom 🚻[/h3]
Sometimes your personnel need to take care of their physiological needs and you, as a responsible owner, have to make sure they have a proper place. Toilets and washstands are an absolute must have in this room.


[h3]Social Room 🛋️[/h3]
A safe space for all your workers to spend their breaks in. Comfortable furniture, vending machines or an arcade will help your employees rest and come back to work full of energy!


[h3]🖌️ Lighting and decorations 💡[/h3]
Choose your lighting and decorate the shop so it’s eye-pleasing. Don’t forget about the ventilation system, signs and other decorations to make the entire space look more realistic.

A good example of how choosing different decorations and colorings can affect the final result are the 2 screens of the bathroom. You’ll have freedom of furnishing, decorating and coloring your shops however you like and stay assured, the looks of the shop won’t affect the animals and clients are more concerned about the items and animals your store has to offer so you can let your imagination run wild while decorating! 💪
