After the recent economy update some of you noticed that profits on vehicles bought before the patch may look different than expected. Let us quickly explain why.
Before the update, vehicles in the game used a different market value system. The new economy introduced updated vehicle values and a new way of calculating service labor.
Because of that, vehicles purchased before the patch may behave differently depending on their original price.
What does this mean in practice?
We’re sorry for the inconvenience. As you know, we’re constantly working to improve the game for you, and sometimes changes like this aren’t easy to implement without side effects.

- fixed issues related to replacing exhaust system parts
- improved tow truck behavior on uneven terrain
- added missing button prompts in the warehouse / packages / inventory UI when playing with a controller
- fixed the position of the Ardena Ignis model on the car lift
- fixed incorrect code fragments causing infinite loops

Before the update, vehicles in the game used a different market value system. The new economy introduced updated vehicle values and a new way of calculating service labor.
Because of that, vehicles purchased before the patch may behave differently depending on their original price.
What does this mean in practice?
- Cheaper vehicles from before the update may now have a higher market value, which means you can actually earn a bit more on them.
- More expensive vehicles may now have a lower market value, so selling them immediately could result in a loss.
- If you want to minimize potential losses on older vehicles, you can replace some parts again (even if they are already at 100%). The labor cost will then be added to the vehicle value.
- Newly purchased vehicles already use the updated economy system, so this mismatch will not occur.
