[p]We had a word with Aimon, and they've agreed to sort something out for players who are coming from EA to 1.0, as they won't be able to keep their progress![/p][p][/p][p]There's now a little system in the game which should make life a lot nicer for players coming to the 1.0 after playing the Early Access version, and a bunch of fixes on top for everyone else.[/p][p][/p]
PLAYING 0.9 WITH ALL YOUR EARLY ACCESS PROGRESS
[p]As you know, the saves are not compatible - something we'd dearly hoped to avoid, but couldn't - and we do have a guide on how to still play the game with those in an archived branch:[/p][p][/p][p]
How to access Early Access save files post launch[/p][p][/p]
PLAYING 1.0 - NEW FEATURE
[p]But for those of you who want to play the 1.0, this new system measures all the things you've bought and unlocked in the game, then converts it to a nice pile of gold that, when you've made your first sale in the game, will be delivered into your coffers![/p][p][/p][p]The full details are in this new guide we wrote:[/p][p]
Early Access Gold Transfer[/p][p]We hope this goes some way to avoid any disappointment![/p][p][/p][p]If you've got Early Access saves as the most recent in Trash Goblin, this is what you'll see:[/p][p]

First the game detects your Early Access save...[/p][p][/p][p]

...and then assuming you want to it tells you how much gold you'll get based on your progress![/p][p][/p][p]
"But what if I've already played a bunch in 1.0?" Well, we've covered that in the guide too - I'd recommend having a read, and balance your 1.0 progress against starting a new game with the bonus gold.[/p][p][/p][p]It's worth saying we're sorry for any frustrations this has caused, we should really have thought about how to handle this better a lot sooner, but we do listen and react as much - and as fast - as possible. We love you goblins![/p][p][/p]
FIXES FOR ALL
[p]But of course this update adds a bunch more stability and bugfixes too! Read on![/p]
- [p]Trinket rotation with WASD is now consistent across all shop viewpoints - it was oriented along a world axis before, rather than relevant to your view as a goblin![/p]
- [p]Characters are much more... emotional?! We've added tonne of new expression changes for the named NPCs.[/p]
- [p]SFX are now in place for the stamp on the "Any-Day" Trading Permit.[/p]
- [p]The map will now close automatically if Aimon starts a conversation with you while you're looking at it. [/p]
- [p]The district confirmation pop-up now closes properly if you close the map while it is open.[/p]
- [p]District icons will now always show the quest waiting exclamation mark when there's a quest waiting for you.[/p]
- [p]The map will also now display sparkle VFX when there's a district quest waiting.[/p]
- [p]Some Side Quest customers couldn't be dismissed without talking to them a second time, and that's now fixed.[/p]
- [p]Even more small tweaks and fixes.[/p]
[p][/p][p]The eagle-eyed amongst you will have seen the other patches we put out last week, but just in case you were wondering:[/p]
- [p]Patch 3: We added some additional logging to help us get the bottom of the issue where some people cannot get Nomia to leave![/p]
- [p]Patch 4: All quest completion states are now saved properly on non-English language systems, meaning Nomia will finally stop returning to repeat the same quests over and over![/p]
