Hotfix 4 - No More Missing Trinkets! (version 0.1.4468)

Hey Goblins,

Just a small one! We've nuked the following nasty:

 • Save files will no longer corrupt when quitting via Alt+F4 (or if experiencing a crash) immediately after loading into the game. In other words, no more missing trinkets when reloading saves.

In other news, we’re part of Secret Mode’s Cozy Quest event which runs up to the 18th of November. Trash Goblin is discounted alongside an amazing bunch of cute and cosy games, so if you’re in need of a comforting, wholesome weekend then make sure you check it out.

Hotfix 3 - Tooltips, Tools and Trinkets! (version 0.1.4457)

Hello Goblins and welcome to Hotfix 3!

Once again, thank you so much for all your support, reviews and especially for your help with hunting down these pesky bugs. And thank you for your patience while we addressed this latest batch of fixes for you.
FIXES
• Tooltips will now appear over trinkets when hovering over them for two seconds, including outside the stash.
 • Trinkets will no longer vanish after returning to the main menu half way through cleaning them.
 • We've added a button to reset tools on the workbench in case they get lost on messy desks!
 • We fixed an issue that caused some trinkets to go missing when reloading save files.
 • You will no longer get stuck in an endless loop with a customer repeating their request if you cancel the deal at the last minute.
 • We've made some tweaks to make saving more robust and prevent save file corruption when reloading a save game after cleaning.
 • We've made various stability fixes to address some crashes.
 • The stash will now automatically open when you begin upcycling.
 • Non-compatible trinkets on the workbench and shelves are now greyed out when upcycling, similar to the way they are in the stash.
 • When upcycling you are no longer forced to place held trinkets in the stash, they can now be placed on the workbench or on shelves.
 • Upcycler upgrades will now unlock even when reloading a save file at the start of the tool upgrade quest.
 • Reloading a save at the start of the shop upgrade quest will no longer cause it to auto complete and bypass the unlocking of the expansion mode button.
 • You can no longer place trinkets behind the tapestries at the back of the shopkeeper area.
 • There is no longer a delay preventing you from progressing through dialogue once it has finished typing to the dialogue box.
 • A 'continue' icon will now appear on dialogue boxes to indicate when the dialogue has finished printing and can be progressed.
 • You no longer have to click an NPC twice to re-initiate a conversation after selecting 'no deal'.
 • We've implemented a new mouse-over effect on NPCs and standardised it.
 • Some minor tweaks have been made to refine the flow of the tutorial.
 • Mushromeo's quest has been tweaked to prevent possible confusion over their amorous trinket requests.
 • Redoir’s trigger box no longer fills the entire customer window and instead matches her character model rather than her personality.
 • A bunch of NPCs have been re-scaled relative to one another. No more giant, intimidating amphibians!
 • Plus a small handful of miscellaneous tweaks and minor fixes.
WHAT'S NEXT
We're still working on an issue which prevents trinkets being placed on the edge of the largest workbench upgrade after reloading save files. We're nearly there but it's a system that touches a lot of things and it's a bit like opening a can of worms! We need more time to make sure it's working fully before we release it into the wild, and we'll get this out in another patch ASAP.

As a refresher, here are links to our previous patch notes for Hotfix 2 and Hotfix 1.

If you haven’t already done so, then remember to check out our Early Access roadmap for an insight into our update schedule.

And finally, details of how to report any other bugs you encounter can now be found in our brand new Troubleshooting Guide (along with info on where to find save files and player logs).
