  • New Act II Soundtrack: Surrender to the haunting, ever-shifting Act II soundtrack, which ebbs and flows with the relentless tides of danger. New boss battle music heightens the monstrous horrors, amplifying their grip as Mother Hydra closes in on you.

  • Refined Gamepad Controls: The gamepad stick now offers greater precision, allowing for more deliberate actions and better defense against the rising chaos that threatens your soul.

  • Segmented Boss Health Bar: The monstrous horrors of the reef now reveal their health as you progress. Once a threshold is crossed, their fury intensifies and each stage brings more brutal, malicious attacks.



  • Player Dialogue: Your beleaguered adventurer now murmurs fragments of resolve or despair, their voice echoing faintly in the void when waves of abominations are vanquished.

Other fixes and improvements have also been made, calming the chaotic forces of the reef. You can now focus fully on your grim task: surviving the horrors that await.

Whispers from the Deep: A Patch Beneath the Waves

This update fixes several bugs related to gameplay, minimap, music, and enemy behavior. It also adds death music and ensures proper boss area teleportation.

  • Fixed a bug where music would sometimes not play correctly.

Update 0.60 - Eldritch Control: Rebinding & Glyphs Unveiled

Prepare yourselves for the latest revelations brought forth in version 0.60. With gameplay and UX refinements, your journey into madness continues to evolve. Here are the sinister details:

  • Controls Rebinding: Players can now rebind controls, allowing for more customized gameplay.
  • Dynamic Glyphs: Dynamic action binding glyphs are now available and updated with active controller device (Keyboard&Mouse/Xbox/PlayStation). (IMPORTANT! Disable Steam input if using a PlayStation controller to avoid interference.)
  • The Innsmouth Man Interrupted: Innsmouth Man’s attack is now interrupted if he is damaged during his animation.
  • Enhanced Combat Feedback: Enemies now give better audio feedback when successfully hit, making combat more visceral.
  • Player Movement Pause: The player now pauses movement during attacks, requiring more strategic planning.
  • Know Your Nemesis: Upon death, the window now shows your killer.
  • HUD Improvements: Centralized HUD bar visibility utilizing new game states. Any open windows now close when the level is completed.
  • Steam Deck Support: Added support for Steam Deck’s floating gamepad text input, making interactions smoother.
  • Yuggothic Ooze Charge Attack: The Yuggothic Ooze enemy now charges and dashes with new sound effects and improved attack logic.
  • Tommy Gun Improvements: The Tommy Gun sound effects have been enhanced with a more pronounced thump to let the others know that your coming for them.
  • Menu Pause: To help your lonesome endeavors the game now pauses while navigating in-run menu or choosing incantation during solo play.

  • Watchers' Bugfixes: Fixed multiple issues with The Watcher, including a “spin to win” bug and a death sequence that didn’t open doors.

  • Cutscene Skipping: Fixed an issue preventing players from skipping cutscenes correctly.
  • Nav Mesh Fixes: Resolved an issue preventing enemies from generating a nav mesh agent during certain states.
  • UI Fixes: Improved button selections, exit actions, and ensured smoother HUD functionality when using gamepads or keyboard.
