BABKA-TERROR! ANNOUNCEMENT!

Hello everyone!

The Steam page for our new game, "BABKA-TERROR", is now live.

YOU CAN ADD IT TO YOUR WISHLIST HERE.

What kind of game is it?

It’s a small, light-hearted, and humorous adventure.

You are a real estate agent. Your task is to figure out which of the elderly women selling an apartment is a scammer. To do that, you will have to carry out a full multi-stage investigation: talk to them, search for evidence, and follow up on leads.

Features:
◉ Varied gameplay, including hidden-object segments, evidence investigation, and a dialogue system where your words influence the course of each investigation;
◉ Vibrant visuals, entirely handcrafted;
◉ Full Russian voice acting.

More details on the Steam page.

If you enjoyed my previous games, I think you’ll like this one too : )

Discounts, bundles, and news!
Hello everyone!
if you don’t want to miss announcements and updates, you can follow my creator page on Steam and my X.

1. Sale and bundles!

The Spring Sale is here. On top of that, all Savvarah-related projects are now combined into bundles (or rather, two bundles), so you can buy everything together at a better price than usual.

Also, a special thank you for your reviews. They really help small indie developers like me.

2. A reminder that you can wishlist DDD: Demons Double Down..

This is not my project. I help a bit on the organizational and financial side, but I’m not involved in the technical or writing side of things. The project is being made by the Wirion team (the biopunk Athanasy and Ceiba are their creations).

This is a game in a setting that is unusual for them, with an equally unusual visual style, where the main heroine finds herself in a nightclub. But reality — just like the story itself — is far from what it seems at first glance.

Strange characters, strange dialogues, branching choices, full Russian voice acting, and multiple variations in how things can unfold.

3. NEWS!

So, right now I’m actively working on several projects. Three Steam pages should appear within the next 2–3 months. At the moment, the releases of all three projects are planned for before April–May next year, though of course we’ll see how things go.

3.1. Let’s start with the projects that definitely won’t be released before April–May next year:
— Legends of Savvarah: The Crisis of Tigonia
As a reminder, a new project set in the world of Savvarah is currently in development, where you will be able to take on the role of the King of Tigonia.
Work is ongoing, but, let’s say, this project currently has a fairly low priority. Not all characters have been drawn yet, and the story itself has not been fully written — for now it only exists as a general outline.
— I’m a Cursebreaker: Aurora
This was originally supposed to be the flagship project of this year. It is a game about David, a demon hunter who helps a girl named Aurora get rid of curses (with a turn-based combat system, etc.).

From around September 2025 to January 2026, there were negotiations regarding funding for this game, but in the end nothing came of it. Because of that, the pace of development slowed down, and the focus shifted to other projects.

Still, work on the game is ongoing, but it most likely will not be ready within the next year.

3.2. And now, the projects that are expected to come out first.
— ???
Yes, literally next week, the Steam page for a small game that will most likely be released this year will go live.
For now, I’ll keep the details secret, but you can try to guess what it’s about based on the images.)
— Your God Damn Battle-Beast
Let’s start with the fact that this is an adult game (18+). The setting is cyberpunk. The characters are located in the “Saika” Tower, where brutal fights are held. Who takes part in them? Debtors, thrill-seekers, professional fighters (both independent ones and those fighting on behalf of various companies), criminal elements, and sometimes even slaves.

The main heroine is Dou. And she does not remember how she ended up in the Tower.

What can you expect?
— a turn-based combat system (how complex it will be is still an open question, since there are a lot of ideas, but we are not sure all of them will make it into the final game);
— a dramatic and dark story with detailed backstories for the heroines (each one darker than the last);
— of course, you will be able to build romantic relationships with other characters. How could it be otherwise?
— mini-games are planned, though the exact lineup is still unclear;
— full Russian voice acting is planned (English is planned too, though I’m not yet sure how that will work out);
— three main endings are planned, but with lots of variations, since each of the main heroines essentially has her own ending.

I think the Steam page will appear in May or June. The release is planned for February–March 2027.
— The Knot Knight
This is also an adult game (18+). The setting is superhero-themed. You will find yourself drawn into conflicts between superheroes.

What can you expect?
— colorful characters;
— turn-based combat as well;
— a less branching story, but with a larger number of activities: one-on-one turn-based fights, sending team members on missions, and working at a bar in the evenings;
— full Russian voice acting is planned (English is also planned, though again I’m not sure yet how that will work out);
— as usual, a fleshed-out lore/setting, as well as backstories for all characters;
— yes, this is adult content. There will be a strong focus on the shibari fetish.

I think the Steam page will appear in May or June. The release is planned for February–March 2027.

Thank you!

DDD: Demons Double Down

[p]Hi everyone,[/p][p]I’m happy to share that my friends — the Wirion team, creators of the awesome biopunk game Athanasy (definitely check it out) — have announced their new project, which got its own Steam page today.[/p][p]DDD: Demons Double Down[/p][p]I also contributed to this game (mostly on the organizational side), and I’m sure that if you like my projects, you’ll like this one too.[/p][p]What makes it interesting?[/p]
 • [p]A memorable and unique visual style;[/p]
 • [p]Unusual nightclub settings for the genre — can’t say more because \[SPOILER!];[/p]
 • [p]Memorable characters with vivid personalities and their own secrets;[/p]
 • [p]Metaphors, references, satire, mysticism, and everything else — it’s all here.[/p]
[p]The game is coming out this year, so please support us and add it to your wishlist.[/p][p]WISHLIST DDD: Demons Double Down[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]

RELEASE: “LEGENDS OF SAVVARA: FLOWERS AND SCORPIONS”

[p][/p][p][/p][p]Hi everyone![/p][p]A new game from the “Legends of Savvara” series is out — featuring Nikaria, Chazir’s agent, and a cultist of Dadar.[/p][p]It’s a small and not very long game, but it’s packed with content and offers plenty of choices and branching paths. I’d really appreciate your support.[/p][p]STEAM PAGE LINK.[/p]

2025 WRAP-UP & PLANS AHEAD

[p][/p][p]Hi everyone![/p][p]Happy upcoming New Year (or Christmas). It’s time to sum up the year and talk about what’s next, right?[/p][p]Also, if you’d like to support me, you can leave a review on any of the projects.[/p][p][/p]
OVERALL!
[p]It’s been a productive year, but also a hard one—and, overall, quite unsuccessful.[/p][p]This is the year when I rethought a lot of things and, so to speak, accepted my global failure. Meaning the failure of Savvarah as a whole. And the understanding that Savvarah as a series didn’t work out (this is more about me and bad decisions than about Savvarah itself, but that’s just lyrical stuff and not that important/interesting).[/p][p]So, what happened this year:[/p][p][/p][p]1. Release of the game “Legends of Savvarah: Children of the Sun.”[/p][p]LINK![/p][p][/p][p]This game took a ton of strength from me and probably became the hardest—though, in hindsight, obvious—failure. There’s nothing else to add.[/p][p][/p][p]2. Release of “I Drink Sorrel Coffee to Reboot Reality, But Monster Girls and Armed Agents Are Hunting Me.”[/p][p]LINK![/p][p][/p][p]An attempt to do something different. It was originally a small project that, completely by accident, got a publisher (and a rating, since it wasn’t intended to be adult).[/p][p]Now I understand what I should’ve done to make the project work better, but—what can you do.[/p][p]I also consider it a failure, since both I and the publisher expected different numbers, but in terms of money “Coffee” has earned (and is earning) more than Savvarah (all current projects combined).[/p][p][/p][p]3. Release of a DLC for “Legends of Savvarah: Time of the Pariah.”[/p][p]LINK![/p][p][/p][p]I think the DLC turned out great. It became part of the main game and probably improved the game overall.[/p][p]Also, I wanted to try Steam’s featuring/promo cycle for major updates. And… well, no miracle happened.)[/p][p]I don’t regret the time spent, but I don’t plan to return to this game anymore.[/p][p][/p][p]Two more books set in the world of Savvarah were also released, but since they don’t have translations yet, it’s not that important.[/p][p][/p][p]Overall, I classify all projects—from books to games—as failures. This is tied both to problems at the promotion stage and to problems at the idea level (not all projects), but I’ve drawn certain conclusions, so I hope the next projects will be more successful.[/p][p][/p][p]Which brings me to…[/p]
PLANS!
[p][/p][p]Right away: earlier I talked about various Savvarah projects—about orcs and so on. Many of them are now frozen. This year I weighed which projects are worth taking on, because right now I can’t afford long and complex development. Because of that, some projects were postponed for later in the hope that I’ll have more resources and opportunities after the next releases.[/p][p][/p][p]1. Legends of Savvarah: Flowers and Scorpions.[/p][p]LINK![/p][p][/p][p]Coming out in January 2026. The game has been fully finished for a long time, but everything dragged on because I decided to add voice acting.[/p][p]It’s a funny situation: “Legends of Savvarah: Flowers and Scorpions” is the shortest game, and it was supposed to be released first.[/p][p]I’ll say this upfront: everything you might not have liked in “Time of the Pariah” is there. It’s a fairly short story with a certain “breadth” of choice.[/p][p]Yes—because all projects were made at the same time, the mistakes across them are more or less the same.[/p][p][/p][p]2. Legends of Savvarah: Crisis of Tigonia.[/p][p][/p][p]This project definitely won’t be released in 2026. It’s being made slowly and, so to speak, as a side product, but I have no doubts that it will happen.[/p][p]Reminder: the main character is the king of Water Tigonia, and the story takes place 800 years after the events of “Time of the Pariah.”[/p][p]It will be a visual novel, but with some gameplay additions (progression, turn-based battles, and elements of country management). But don’t expect a full-fledged strategy game.[/p][p]18+ content is still a question mark. I’m thinking.[/p][p][/p][p]3. I'm a cursebreaker | Aurora.[/p][p]You could call this the flagship project, with a release currently planned for early 2027. This is probably the one I have the highest hopes for.[/p][p]Very briefly: urban fantasy setting, chthonic monsters, a cozy game vibe, light romance, and turn-based combat.[/p][p]We play as David. He’s a cursebreaker and a demon hunter. One day a girl shows up on his doorstep—one who is under a demonic curse.[/p][p]The goal of the game is to save her from the curse. The story will also include various side plots (with the usual branching/variability).[/p][p]It’s still in an early stage, but at the beginning of the year I plan to move into more active development.[/p][p][/p][p]4. Что-то еще.[/p][p]There are a few more projects that will be announced later for various reasons (either they’re looking for/waiting for a publisher, or they’re at a very early stage, or something else).[/p][p]I won’t announce them yet, but I’ll show pictures : )

[/p][p]That’s it.[/p][p]If you want, you can subscribe to the Steam page.
If you like what I do, you can support me with a purchase/review—or even just a comment here.
Thanks everyone, and happy holidays : )[/p]
