Early Access Update #58 - New clothing, new flowers, QoL updates!

Today's update brings a new set of clothing to be unlocked, the fur coat!

We're also adding a new set of long-term flowers to unlock, as well as a new road decoration.

New content:
  • New clothing: Fur coat set (includes glasses, hat, backpack...)
  • New flowers: Poinsettia (5 variants)
  • New road decoration: Cobblestone Road

Improvements:
  • When "Hide invite code" is enabled, screenshot path will be hidden too in photo mode. We'll probably rename this setting to "Streamer mode" in the future. This could show email addresses depending on how you set up your Windows account.
  • When using the tractor in automatic mode over plowed tiles, inside an area where there's a sign with specific crops set, the tractor will try to plant those crops without having to choose them in the shop.
  • Revised sorting in the shop: Added a few sort options to specific categories; when sorting by specific stats (such as item level or duration), the button contents change to show the specific item level,
  • Replaced "1,234M" number format for big values to "1.2345B". Added more decimals to prevent confusion with small money increases not showing any change in the counter.

Bugfixes:
  • Fixed big Lilypad road pieces not being shown properly in map.
  • Fixed improper bush/planter behavior on slow hard drives.
  • Fixed town shop placement achievements not being unlocked when a visitor builds the shop. This should be retroactively unlocked upon loading the farm.
  • Fixed incorrect fish size in specific cases.
  • Fixed player collision issues when traveling to town while climbing a hill or jumping over a fence.
  • Fixed some items being hidden in Photo mode.

Nominate Farm Together 2 for Steam Awards for the "Better with Friends" award!

Hi!

In this unusual update (don't worry, you're getting a standard one tomorrow!) we're asking for your help by nominating Farm Together 2 in the Steam awards.

We were hesitant between the "Better with Friends" and the "Sit back and Relax" categories, as both are a good fit for the game, but we decided on the first one to match the game's name!

Your help would be really appreciated (reviews are also welcome!), and as always we really hope you're enjoying the game!

And, if you don't have the game yet, it's available at a discounted price during the Steam Autumn sale (spoiler: This will be the lowest price for a long time)

A new big feature we've been working on will be coming very soon, so stay tuned for more updates!

Early Access Update #57 - Koi fish, QoL improvements

In today's update, we're adding a new set of fish, and a bunch of minor QoL improvements.

We've been working on a new big feature, but it will still take some time until it's complete. We can't wait to show you what we've been working on!

New content:
  • New fish: Koi fish (5 variants)
  • Added new colored sprinkler variants.

Improvements:
  • Improved placement direction behavior so it's better aligned with items.
  • Improved autotractor sprinkler placement behavior.
  • Replaced "PhotonCloudTimeout" message with something a bit more descriptive of the issue.
  • Map: Empty plowed land can now be told apart from crop tiles.
  • When Toggle run is enabled, state is saved, so reloading or joining another farm will keep the last used state.

Bugfixes:
  • Fixed an issue where farmhand tasks weren't being sent while the host was in the intro cutscene, causing "synchronization lost" errors on clients.
  • Fixed being able to unlock the money achievements while visiting a farm.
  • Fixed Gazebo bench having the wrong size (1x1 instead of 3x1). While this shouldn't "break" houses that had it already placed, it's recommended to move/recycle it with the new size to avoid further issues.

Early Access - Update #56 - New job, trading cards & more!

Today's update brings a new job: Stone carving! Create stone sculptures that can be later used as decorations, and earn a new resource that can be converted into medals!

New Content:
  • New job: Stone carving, with 4 stone sculptures to create.
  • New resource: Stone sculptures.
  • Added new colored variants to some fences and roads that didn't have any.
  • Enabled Trading Cards and points shop items (animated profile backgrounds) for the game.
  • Added new soundtracks.

Improvements:
  • Added a sound when the boost is about to expire.
  • Added an indicator telling how the item is being rotated. We're aware that many items are placed in the opposite direction of this arrow. We may change this in the future.
  • Planters will now show the selected item just like signs did.

Gameplay changes:
  • Reduced jobs' price and revenue in diamonds a little.

Bugfixes:
  • Tall grass will still be shown when model quality is set to "Low".

  • Increased inventory increase for every warehouse upgrade level.

Bugfixes:
  • Fixed color issues in water reflection during night.
  • Fixed being unable to place event decorations in planters/frames once the event is over.
