PERAGLEES EARLY ACCESS VERSION 2.0.0195 | CHICKLIT ENGINE V2.0

***FIXED BUGS***

- Water pallet issue introduced in build 0194.
- Layer issue with blood effect.


***ADDED***

- When Oreient bunch is in water, plays a new animation and creates water particle effects.


***MODIFIED***

- Forgot to update the build version in 0194 on the title screen.
- Optimised smoke effects.
- Optimised Oreient effects.
- Optimised events.
- Optimised RAM usage.
- Added more damage to the splash damage of mines and homing missiles.


***LEVEL DESIGN***

- Took out the later enemies on Peraglees, moved some object around and added more power ups.
- Took out the later enemies on Gnome 8.
- Took out the later enemies on Ye Fenny.
- Took out the later enemies on Calypsia.
- Added Oreient to water on Popped De Ping.

New Arcade Level - Popped De Ping

We're making really great progress, and here's a new update with a new level. You can also use mines in a new way, I recommend playing the tutorial again to see how.

***FIXED BUGS***

- Goblin walking can destroy "Static Gun Turret Enter Item" when colliding with item. (Found by Sly_The_Fox)
- Goblins on flying turrets could overlap players on flying turrets and cause the goblins collision to freakout.
- Added seperate code for boss 2 turrets, flame and cannon missile launcher for at player 1. Same issue as EGS boss 3.
- Sometimes bullet smoke could go through collision causing visible seam issues.
- Sometimes gun flare could go through collision causing visible seam issues.
- Sometimes blood could go through collision causing visible seam issues.
- Sometimes gun layer shadows and dog shadows could go through collision causing visible seam issues.
- When you enter options on boss and move the position of the HUD, sometimes the HUD will disappear.
- When announcer says "boss time" and you enter the pause menu, music volume sets to 0.
- Tree tops in level 2 had shading applied to them.
- Goblins dying by bullets could clip through walls if there was collision above them.


***ADDED***

- Moving goblins can enter gun turrets when colliding with the item.
- New way to use mines, standing still and running doing a kneel slide. (Added feature suggested by SantaAzul).
- When explosion and water effects are off screen, they have no sound effect played.


***MODIFIED***

- Moved black smoke to layer 19.
- Moved ground dust to layer 9.
- Moved ground cracks to layer 8.
- Moved ground stones to layer 8.
- Goblin die by explosion alpha trans. They fade faster now.
- Updated the tutorial to include the new mine placement ability.


***LEVEL DESIGN***

- Forgot to spawn collision on level 3 boss start, player has to stay in boss arena now.
- Popped De Ping Level template.
- Arcade level Popped De Ping.


***MUSIC***

- Popped De Ping arcade level music by Glyn (The Resistance)

Hey everyone, small patch here which fixes a few things and adds a stats screen at the end of the arcade levels. Hope you enjoy, new level coming soon. ːsteamhappyː

***FIXED BUGS***

- Fixed a bug on level 2 where the top tank can go through its collision. (Found by Sly_The_Fox)
- Level 2 boss flame could not be destroyed by players MegaBomb.
- Level 3 boss. The Evil Good Shepherd had issues focusing on KAOTIX in 1 Player mode.


***ADDED***

- The Flamethrower weapon to the corn field in Gnome 8. (Enjoy burning that corn!) (Suggested by Sly_The_Fox)
- When The Evil Good Shepherd's bullets hits a player, he stops shooting and laughs. Arcade mode boss 3.
- Mission stats screen in Arcade Mode. Explosion position idea. (Suggested by Sly_The_Fox)
- New tune by Glyn in mission stats. (Crowdkill Shuffle)


***MODIFIED***

- Corn burn health, burns quicker now.
- Reduced corn code. Slightly more optimised.
- Default HUD transparency is now set to 60%.
- Disabled debug mode.


***LEVEL DESIGN***

- Moved two arrow signs down slightly on Gnome 8.
- Took away two trees hiding tanks on Gnome 8.

Ok everyone, sorry for the delay for this release but... I decided to remake the whole engine from scratch! Yes, that's right. Not a single line of code is the same as early access version 1.

The main focus in this version was to make it as bug free as we could! I think we succeeded, not saying there are still a few, but we are confident the game plays really smooth.

Early access version 1 came with a lot of limitations, mainly in the player controls. Now we have full access to X-INPUT via the X-INPUT extension via Clickteam Fusion 2.5+.

This is such a massive update so I won't be able to list everything. You'll notice this version does have less content than the previous version. Don't worry, we're hard at work reimplementing everything into our new engine.

New stuff:

- Brand new arcade levels made from scratch (new assets and level layouts).
- Music has been updated to their latest versions.
- Goblins now throw grenades and launch rockets, also their A.I. is heavily improved.
- New vehicular based enemies added.
- New mountable player vehicles. (Jetski, Jeep, Motorbike, Jetpack, Tank, Turret, Flying Turret).
- XBOX game pads are now fully usable.
- Peraglees is now a twin stick shooter. (Dual analog action!)
- Bosses A.I. have been rewritten, more challenging!
- New menus, they are beautiful!
- Added a new player gun. The Uzi Ripper!
- 2 player mode now has a help system. (No longer does player 1 or 2 have to tap out)
- Menus setup for new features to be implemented.
- New player win animation pose
- New player explosion animation. (Looks really cool).
- New front and back die by bullet animations.
- New in game pause menu with loads of options to choose from.
- 1 Player camera mods. (Access these during gameplay via the pause menu)
- Colour blind? We got you covered.
- Enable or disable player 2 while in game, just in-case mother calls your friend for dinner.
- Lot's of graphic options added.

Have fun with this one, we plan on doing a new update every 1-2 weeks.
