The content update for Decimate Drive, the indie horror game in which killer cars are out for blood, is out now! It's a free update featuring a new story mode, new killer cars and much more.

[h3]Backroads[/h3]

The new (short) story mode is set in a remote backcountry where killer cars rely on heavy for to remain unseen. It features six new locations and six new killer cars.


[h3]Killer car gallery[/h3]

This content update also adds a gallery so you can view all killer cars and some important objects from the story. Finding collectibles will unlock more of the gallery.


[h3]Much more[/h3]

- New dash ability to dodge enemies at the last second.
- New crouch ability to take routes where enemies can't follow you.
- Additional cinematics for the main story line.
- Improvements to the Hit & Run arcade mode.
- Tweaks to make unfair kills less likely.
- Other small improvements and bug fixes.

The content update for Decimate Drive, the indie horror game about getting hunted by killer cars, will be out soon! The content update is titled Backroads and will feature a new story mode, new killer cars and much more.


[h3]Backroads[/h3]

In the last devlog I talked shortly about the setting of Backroads, a remote backcountry where killer cars rely on heavy fog to remain unseen. I can now confirm that the new (short) story mode will feature six new locations. From forests with dense vegetation to crop fields littered with barns.

The content will also feature six new killer cars... or vehicles to be exact 😁


[h3]New moves[/h3]

The content update will also feature some new moves for the player. The biggest addition being the dash ability, allowing you to dodge cars at the last second. Crouching is now also possible, so you can take routes where enemies can't follow you.

Both new moves will be available in all game modes, including the main story and arcade mode.

Backroads will be out this month, so keep an eye out for the release announcement!

This devlog is a first look at the upcoming content update for Decimate Drive, which will feature a new story chapter and more killer cars.

[h3]Backcountry[/h3]

In the new story chapter, desolate city street will make way for a remote backcountry. Instead of darkness, killer cars will rely on the heavy fog to remain unseen.



The new story chapter will also feature new killer cars and gameplay mechanics. It's still a work in progress, so you'll have to wait and see what will be included exactly.

Another update for Decimate Drive is now available. It comes with new content and a couple of improvements.



[h3]New content and changes[/h3]

• The Mulholland Rentals parking lot is now available as level for the Hit & Run game mode.
  
• There are two new killer cars you'll encounter in New Game Plus and the Hit & Run game mode.
  
• An option to invert Y axis and some other minor improvements were added.
