Upcoming Public Lobby Test!

[p]🚨 Officers,[/p][p][/p]
We need you! 👮
[p][/p][p]Well, that isn't exactly news. We've always needed you, our loyal community, for your great feedback and support. This time, however, it's not a matter of flattery. We need you with a very specific objective in mind.[/p][p][/p][p]You see, following up on all your feedback that we just can't seem to praise enough, we've decided to roll out a public lobby feature in SWAT Commander. What does that mean for you? No longer will there be a dependency on your Steam Friends list for co-op but soon, there will also be an option to simply list or browse lobbies created by other players to get into that cooperative game faster.[/p][p][/p][p]Before we can do that, we'd like to test this feature thoroughly. Our solution? QA of course but then we also invite you all to a limited-time event where you'll get to basically playtest the feature in our free prologue version of the game if you choose to be so supportive.[/p][p][/p][p]We're letting you know about this event in advance in the hopes of assembling as many players as possible, which would help the project very much.[/p][p][/p]
Where? The Prologue version of SWAT Commander:
[p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p]
When? Starting on February 11th, the event will last exactly one week and end on February 18th.
[p][/p][p]Once you're done checking out the public lobbies, you're welcome to share your feedback or report any issues you may have experienced using the form here: https://forms.gle/sJzGEDusXey69eoM8[/p][p][/p][p]With our testing done and all necessary fixes in place, this feature will then become a permanent part of SWAT Commander's Early Access version with an official update. Thank you![/p][p][/p][p]Over and out,[/p][p]SWAT Commander Team[/p]

SWAT Commander: Prologue – v.0.7.8.4

[p]🚨 Officers,[/p][p][/p][p]SWAT Commander receives a new regular update, bringing its current version to 0.7.8.4. The update comes with a discount, giving you the temporary chance to snag our Early-Access version for a bargain with its additional missions and both single-player and co-op modes![/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p]
New Window Command
[p][/p][p]The changes in this patch tweak gameplay to make some tool use faster, give you the option to switch firing modes on handguns while using the Ballistic Shield, and let you adjust sights in headcam mode.[/p][p][/p]
However, we're also updating our Early Access version to 0.7.8.4 and we're including a brand new command for single player mode there.
[p][/p][p]in an effort to reinforce our officers' tactical repertoire, the new command we're introducing there should make building entries easier by allowing you to issue a command to throw grenades through first-floor windows. This is configured for all of our current and future missions.[/p][p]Remember to adjust your choice of grenade to how quickly you can make an entry and that tossing grenades through windows outside of commands is a viable approach in co-op and for yourself as the squad commander in single player, too.[/p][p]Patch notes below.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Fig. 1 — Window grenade deployment in action in EA version of SWAT Commander[/p][p][/p][p]SWAT Commander Prologue v.0.7.8.4 - Patch Notes[/p][p]GAMEPLAY[/p]
 • [p]Reduced lock-picking time for player's multitool by 50%.[/p]
 • [p]Updated the door ramming system: while hit location still matters, striking the door near the lock area with a battering ram now breaks doors much faster.[/p]
[p]EQUIPMENT[/p]
 • [p]Added the ability to switch pistol firing modes while using a shield, for pistols that support multiple firing modes.[/p]
[p]UI[/p]
 • [p]Added new virtual sight settings for Headcam mode, allowing the interaction sight and shooting sight to be toggled independently.[/p]
[p][/p][p]We're taking note of further suggestions you've been making about available commands as well as feedback related to other areas of the game, so as always, we appreciate them and we'll see what can be done about incorporating them into our update. More on those, including new missions, coming soon.[/p][p][/p][p]Over and out,[/p][p]SWAT Commander Team[/p]
