Throne and Liberty server caps raised as Amazon battles MMO congestion

If you've been struggling to get onto the Throne and Liberty server you want, life should now be a little smoother. The free MMORPG from NCSoft and Amazon Games has seen peak player counts of around 300,000 on Steam each day since its full launch on Tuesday October 1. That pushes it into the top five most-played games on the Valve store and it also sits at number three globally for revenue. Unfortunately, that popularity comes with server congestion, meaning it's been tough for players to get into the server they want or create new characters.

Amazon addresses Throne and Liberty's shaky launch, details planned fixes

Throne and Liberty might be Steam's latest free hit, but that doesn't mean it's gone off without a hitch. Amazon and NCSoft's MMORPG is pulling in plenty of players, and the sheer volume has created quite a few issues. Between bottlenecked worlds, overloaded servers, and a spate of bugs created by both problems, it's not exactly been ideal. That said, Amazon has already outlined what it's fixed, alongside what the high-priority adjustments are now that T&L is out of early access.

Best Throne and Liberty builds

What are the best builds in Throne and Liberty? That's not an easy question to answer in a game with 21 unique weapon combinations, all of which become named classes in-game. Each of these weapon types has 12 active skills, 7 passive skills, weapon masteries, specializations, and more - there is a lot to consider. We've gone ahead and put together four of the most potent builds available in-game: Crusader, Sentinel, Scorpion, and Darkblighter.

With the addition of Throne and Liberty to Nvidia GeForce Now, you can play the game on just about any device you can think of, from phones to TVs.

With Throne and Liberty currently blowing up on Steam, jumping high into the top five most-played games on the platform, it's no surprise Nvidia has been quick to add the title to its game streaming service. However, while the new MMPORG might be free-to-play, if you don't have access to a PC - even one without one of the best graphics cards around - you'd normally struggle to get in on the fun.
