Omen of Chaos Event


Road to Raid continues with the Omen of Chaos event. Gather Traces of Chaos from activities like Amitoi Expeditions, Co-Op Dungeons, and Mystic Portals to earn extra rewards from June 5 through June 26. This special loot can be exchanged at event shops for valuable items or used to craft event-specific buffs.

Alongside additional rewards for playing some of your favorite content, daily login rewards, including Traces of Chaos, Seeds of Chaos, and Seeds of Purity will be available to claim throughout the event.

[h2]Special Crafting Rewards[/h2]
Craft these event-specific buffs using Traces of Chaos, Seeds of Chaos, and Seeds of Purity to improve your chances of taking down Calanthia in the raid. Note, each buff cannot stack with similar offensive or defensive buffs.

[h3]Fury of Chaos Essence[/h3]
  • The essence of Chaos Fury that envelops even the light of life.
  • Increases All Species Damage Boost, Boss Critical Hit Chance, and Boss Heavy Attack.
  • Requires 5 Trace of Chaos and 1 Seed of Chaos.

  • The essence of luminous life that blooms on chaotic energy.
  • Increases all Species Damage Resistance, Boss Endurance, and Boss Evasion.

Fortune's Calling Event

Fortune beckons from May 29 until June 11. Complete various activities such as Co-op Dungeons, Dynamic Events, Field Bosses, and Amitoi Expeditions for a chance to score extra rewards like the Golden Archboss Weapon Selection Chest throughout this event.

Following the completion of certain activities, players will receive Fortune Stones. Surpass Fortune Stone milestones for a chance to earn extra rewards, including a Black Anvil Weapon. Once enough players have collectively gathered enough Fortune Stones for a given reward, everyone who has at least 1 Fortune Stone will automatically receive guaranteed bonus loot, such as the Fire Crown.

Net highly desirable rewards, while also supporting your fellow adventurers on the Road to Raid.

[h2]Rewards[/h2]

The chance of earning non-guaranteed rewards will change based on how many players complete the required number of activities. For example, if 1000 players reach the threshold for the Nebula Boss Accessory Selection Chest reward, everyone will have a 5% chance of obtaining it since only up to 50 these Chests can be awarded. All rewards will be distributed automatically in-game within 2 weeks of the event.

[h3]Non-Archboss Weapon Selection Chest (Select any Tier 2 weapon)[/h3]
  • Out of everyone that reaches the 8000 Fortune Stones milestone, 50 randomly chosen players will receive this reward. If 50 or less players reach that milestone throughout the event, this reward will be guaranteed.
  • If 1500 players surpass the 8000 Fortune Stones milestone, all players with at least 1 Fortune Stone will receive the Wave emote.

[h3]Nebula Boss Accessory Selection Chest[/h3]
  • Out of everyone that reaches the 9000 Fortune Stones milestone, 50 randomly chosen players will receive this reward. If 50 or less players reach that milestone throughout the event, this reward will be guaranteed.
  • If 1000 players surpass the 9000 Fortune Stones milestone, all players with at least 1 Fortune Stone will receive the Free-Spirited Gneiss.

[h3]Black Anvil Weapon[/h3]
  • Out of everyone that reaches the 10,000 Fortune Stones milestone, 25 randomly chosen players will receive this reward. If 25 or less players reach that milestone throughout the event, this reward will be guaranteed.
  • If 500 players surpass the 10,000 Fortune Stones milestone, all players with at least 1 Fortune Stone will receive 15 Obsidian Fragments.

[h3]Golden Archboss Weapon Selection Chest (Any Tier 2 weapon from Giant Cordy and Deluzhnoa)[/h3]
  • Out of everyone that reaches the 12,000 Fortune Stones milestone, 10 randomly chosen players will receive this reward. If 10 or less players reach that milestone throughout the event, this reward will be guaranteed.
  • If 100 players surpass the 12,000 Fortune Stones milestone, all players with at least 1 Fortune Stone will receive the Fire Crown.

THRONE AND LIBERTY Update 2.12.0 downtime will begin at 10:30 p.m. PT (5:30 a.m. UTC) on May 28 and last approximately 5 hours. Descend into the depths of a new 4-Star Co-Op Dungeon, gain more power with new Earring equipment, and experience new events on your Road to Raid. [h2]​4-Star Co-Op Dungeon: Crypt of Augmentation[/h2]

Confront the necromancer Velentra in the Crypt of Augmentation for substantial rewards, including essential Tier 2 equipment drops, that will accelerate your gear progression. Once a professor of light magic at Venelux, Velentra's life changed forever when she witnessed the extraordinary powers of the Arkeum knight Calanthia. Now transformed by dark magic, this mysterious necromancer stands before us, commanding ancient powers in devoted service to her dark mistress.

The Crypt of Augmentation will require a Combat Power of 5000 to enter. Master it for an easier time against Calanthia no matter how badly she wants your Star Fragment.

[h3]Earrings - New Equipment Slot[/h3]
A new accessory equipment slot has been added: Earrings!
  • The Earring slot is available automatically to all characters after the 2.12.0 update.
  • Earrings can be acquired through various content such as Tier 2 tokens at the All Things Merchant, Nebula Island, Co-Op and Solo Dungeons, and Talandre Arch Bosses.

[h3]Combat Update - Positional Attacks[/h3]
  • The combat system now recognizes when an attack comes from front, rear, or flanking directions.
  • Multiple abilities have been updated with positional damage or effects based on attacking from the flank or rear of the target, so take a moment to review your skills for potential benefits!

[h3]Interserver Siege[/h3]
  • Castle-owning Alliances can now take part in an Interserver Siege event every 3 weeks, pitting castle owners on different servers against each other in Siege combat.
  • Alliances will be paired up and both sides will have an opportunity to attack and defend.
  • A portion of tax revenue from each participating server will be added to the reward pool, and divided among the participating alliances based on the outcome of the battle.
  • Emerging victorious will reward participants with a temporary title, temporary cloak cosmetic, chaos runes, and consumables.
  • Victorious alliances will also bring a 48-hour server wide buff to their home server, granting all players on that server increased Abyss Point efficiency and combat damage bonus.
  • The less-victorious Alliance members will receive a selection of consumables and chaos runes for their efforts.
  • The first Interserver Siege is slated to take place June 15, with eligible participants based on the outcome of the regular Sieges on June 1.

[h3]Mystic Globe Sollant Event[/h3]
Mystic Globes and Mystic Portals have inexplicably been swapped for Lucky Bags. Gather Lucky Bags around Solisium from May 29 until maintenance on June 11 for additional rewards and Sollant items.

[h3]Fortune’s Calling Event[/h3]
Fortune beckons from May 29 until June 11. Complete various activities such as Co-op Dungeons, Dynamic Events, Field Bosses, and Amitoi Expeditions for a chance to net extra rewards like the Golden Archboss Weapon Selection Chest.

[h3]Color Craft: Amitoi Edition Winner[/h3]

We asked you to color in Growling Wolfie Amitoi images with your own personal touch as part of the Color Craft: Amitoi Edition Discord event. Following the final community vote, we’re excited to announce the winner in Discord. Their Amitoi will be added to the game as a future reward.

[h3]New Codex Entries[/h3]
New Adventure and Extra Codex entries have been added with additional story quests and rewards.
  • Interlude: The Order of the Swan and Extra: Two Wings of Sylvaeth introduce story related to the upcoming raid release.

[h3]General[/h3]
  • Collection Codex: Added the Miscellaneous Collection Codex with additional collections to complete and new rewards, including materials and profile frames.
  • Morphs: Increased the level cap for Dash, Glide, and Swim Morph levels and bonuses!
  • Nebula Island: Combined basic and greater Nebula Stone merchants into a single shop merchant.
  • Field Boss: Players will no longer be pulled into a Dominion event after leaving the party that signed up for it.
  • Events: Festival of Fire: Fixed a rare issue causing Phase 2 to not complete after extinguishing all fires around a Chief Priest's Brazier.
  • Cooking: Enticing Cream Pudding: Changed the bonus Wildkin damage and resistance effect to bonus Construct damage and resistance effect.
  • Cooking: Added more types of Cooking contracts to the Contract NPCs in Laslan, Stonegard, and Talandre. This should also fix cases where players ran into empty Cooking contract lists when pursuing them.
  • PvP: Removed the setting for 'Always Use Amitoi Recovery in PvP Combat' which did not actually use recovery items.
  • Siege: Slightly increased the duration of Fonsine's Blessing applied when respawning during Siege or Tax Delivery events.
  • Crimson Manor: Fixed an area where players could get stuck if landing from a glide near Snowburn Summit.
  • Cosmetics: Fixed various rendering issues with the Casual Chic outfit.
  • PlayStation-Only Servers: New characters created on PlayStation-Only servers will once again receive a complimentary server transfer ticket.
  • Controller: Fixed a rare issue causing UI navigation to continue even after the joystick was released.
  • Console: Xbox Series S: Fixed an issue causing NPC's to occasionally T-pose upon log in.
  • Voice Chat: Fixed an issue causing voice chat to deactivate when entering/exiting instances.

[h3]UI[/h3]
  • Party Matchmaking: Added the ability to sort the list of available dungeons and Dimensional Trials in ascending or descending difficulty.
  • Targeting: Added icons to Boss NPCs to indicate their Boss status.
  • Guild: Adjusted the layout of the Guild UI to reduce the size of the Friendly Guild list and display more Guild Notices.
  • HUD: Weather info will no longer be hidden after collapsing then expanding the minimap.
  • HUD: Icons on the minimap are now displayed correctly when the minimap size is expanded beyond the default setting.
  • Minimap: Fixed an issue where icons for former party members could remain visible on the minimap.
  • Minimap: Added options to allow or prevent click interactions on the minimap.
  • Settings: Added options to allow rotating character in place through mouse drag.
  • Settings: Added options to reduce the transparency of visual effects.
  • Settings: Fixed an issue preventing some HUD UI sizes from being selectable in the Settings menu.
  • Settings: Added options to reduce the transparency of floating damage numbers.

[h3]Combat[/h3]
  • Stats: Added new bonus effects for reaching stat values of 80 or more.
  • Items: You can now receive buff effects from both attack and defensive food at the same time.
  • Akman's Bloodletting Crossbow: Akman's Fragment effect will now only trigger when the Selfless Diffusion skill is active.

[h3]Crossbow[/h3]
  • Wild Barrage: Fixed an issue causing the incorrect icon to be displayed in some locations when the Wild Barrage specialization was active on Merciless Barrage.
  • Nimble Leap: Whirlpool Specialization: Movement speed increase within the Whirlpool area reduced from 20% to 15%.
  • Wind Snatcher: Maximum movement speed bonus reduced from 50% to 30%.
  • Mastery: Agile Strike: Reduced the movement speed bonus from 3% to 2%.
  • Mastery: Mirage Dancer: Reduced the movement speed bonus from 10% to 8%.

[h3]Dagger[/h3]
  • Camouflage Cloak: Duration reduced by 3 seconds. Slightly reduced the duration extension provided through specialization.

[h3]Greatsword[/h3]
  • Mastery: Reckless Assault: Fixed an issue where Reckless Assault was not applying the additional 50% boost to Raging Frenzy.
  • Blood Devotion: After being affected by Blood Devotion, players will now be unable to receive the affects of Blood Devotion again for 45 seconds.

[h3]Longbow[/h3]
  • Healing Touch: The amount of healing provided has been reduced by 16%.
  • Blitz: Can no longer reset the cooldown on Wand's Fountain of Life.

[h3]Spear[/h3]
  • Rupture: Fixed an issue where Rupture ignored Weaken Resistance.
  • Predator: Added a function to Predator that removes stacking recovery effects applied by player skills in the order they were most recently applied, one stack at a time.

[h3]Sword[/h3]
  • Provoking Roar: This ability now forces the user to the top of the target's aggro list for 6 seconds.

[h3]Wand[/h3]
  • Blessed Barrier: Fixed an issue causing the player's Buff Duration Bonus to not apply to the secondary buff applied by Blessed Barrier.
  • Swift Healing: Mana cost of tier 2 and 3 Swift Healing has been reduced to match the cost of Tier 1, however the amount healed by tier 2 and 3 is also reduced.

[h3]War Games[/h3]
  • Spectator Mode: Additional features added to Spectator Mode including quick-swap saves for following specific characters, UI improvements to reduce on-screen clutter, and camera rotation sensitivity settings.
  • Fixed an issue causing the camera to become stuck underground when entering a War Games match as a Spectator while dead.
  • Fixed an issue causing Spectators to occasionally swap from Tracking Mode to Free Roam Mode without input.
  • Fixed an issue causing the camera to become stuck when navigating to specific areas.
  • Portals and Pitons can no longer be targeted while in Spectator mode.
  • The Camera Speed setting now affects the camera's zoom in/out speed as well.

Blue Squadron Best in Guild Tournament

Thousands will fight over Rift Stones for a piece of the 1,300,000 Lucent prize pool, but only one guild from each region will claim the number one spot. Tune into the Blue Squadron Best in Guild Talandre Championship Series May 26 through June 21 for Twitch Drops, memorable matches, and more.

Each day will spotlight one of 3 regions: North America East, North America West, and Europe.
  • NA West matches will begin at 6PM PT
  • NA East matches will begin at 4PM PT
  • EU matches will begin at 10AM PT

Road to Raid Event

Calanthia awaits in our first 12-player Raid, Altar of Calanthia, on June 26. Join Road to Raid activities starting on May 29 for rewards that will prepare you to face the Command Marshal General of the Arkeum Legion.

Road to Raid will feature different content every few weeks, like an adventure through your favorite game modes. The first two weeks kick off the event with Co-Op Dungeons and Field Bosses. The festivities will continue in the following weeks via Dimensional Trials and Nebula Island. Looking for tougher challenges? A new variant of Tevent with different mechanics will also wreck havoc for a limited time.

While you’re improving your gear, Calanthia will be preparing a ritual to resurrect Revillele Lupius. Vanquish Calanthia in the Raid before her dream becomes a nightmare for all of Solisium. Altar of Calanthia will launch with both normal and hard difficulties. Look forward to more information on a third difficulty tier in the future.

[h2]Schedule[/h2]

To best prepare players for their fated clash with Calanthia, every few weeks will include progressively more difficult content, plus increasingly more desirable rewards. Specific activities and bonus rewards can also be found in the weekly completion tab.

[h3]Phase 1[/h3]
Week 1 (May 29 - June 5) and Week 3 (June 12 - 19) include:
  • Co-Op Dungeon completion: 7M Sollant.
  • Field Boss participation and kills: 60 Rare Artifact Selection Chests.
  • Mystic Globe Sollant Event: Mystic Globes and Mystic Portals have inexplicably been swapped for Lucky Bags. Gather Lucky Bags around Solisium for additional rewards and Sollant items.

After you’ve claimed your additional rewards, set forth alone in Solo Dungeons, gather your guild for Abyss Dungeons, and then challenge Field Bosses.

[h3]Fortune’s Calling Event[/h3]

[h3]Phase 2 [/h3]
Week 2 (June 5 - 12) and Week 4 (June 19 - 26) include:
  • Dimensional Trial completion: 12 Nebula Conquest Chests.
  • Dynamic Event Player Kills and Assists (PvP): 12 Nebula Conquest Chests.

Make your Nebula Conquest Chest rewards the first of many more. Whether you return to Nebula Island, Dimensional Trials, or look for new guild members, crafting with Abyss Contract Tokens will further improve your gear before your destined showdown.

[h3]Guild Raid Archboss: Tevent[/h3]

Tevent has been defeated countless times, but they’re ready for revenge from June 12 through June 29. Conquer new mechanics and discover altered loot tables as you take on a trickier variant of this familiar foe.
