New Gameplay Trailer & Demo Drop Tomorrow – Get Hyped!

Alright, you've been asking. You've been waiting. Now the madness is finally here.

The new gameplay trailer is live—packed with fresh abilities, brutal fights, and way too many fireballs. And guess what? The demo is out NOW.

Steam Next Fest. The demo drops. Test your builds, explore the world, and see how long you last before something ancient sends you back to the grave.

So tell us: What’s the first thing you’re trying? Ice AK-47? Black hole rocket launcher? Speedrunning straight to the boss to see how fast you can get deleted? Let’s hear it.

Demo’s Dropping Soon – Get Ready!

Last year was insane. We sat down, crunched on the game, fixed bugs, reworked mechanics, broke the balance, fixed the balance, then broke it again. Turns out, game dev isn’t just “write code, code works”—it’s “write code, code gains sentience, breaks three other systems, and then deletes itself.” But somehow, we made it through. And you know what? This game actually slaps.

24 weapons.
Yeah. Twenty-four. Daggers, swords, rocket launchers, SMGs, sniper rifles, hammers, miniguns—if it can shoot, stab, or bonk something into next week, we probably made it. Every single one has its own special power, which is either really cool or an absolute balancing nightmare (send prayers to the devs).



35 abilities.
You ever wanted to throw a lightning bolt at a guy, freeze his friend, and then summon a ghost archer to finish the job? Congrats, now you can. And that’s just scratching the surface. Some of these combos are gonna feel straight-up illegal, but we’ll let you cook.

3 locations.
Misty forests where you can’t see five feet ahead. Frozen mountains where even your character regrets coming here. A fire temple that’ll have you questioning every decision you’ve ever made.



Gameplay that doesn’t let you breathe.
Roguelite madness. Permanent upgrades. Combos so busted they make us cry. Randomized combat modifiers that exist purely to ruin your day. No two runs play the same, unless you’re an RNG god, in which case, teach me your ways.

What’s next?
Demo is almost here. Soon, you’ll step into the Misty Forest, where you’ll meet the Trent. He’s big, he’s mad, and he despises fire magic. (don’t bring it up. It’s a sensitive topic.)

Also, huge news—we’re part of Steam Next Fest in February! That means you get to test the demo, suffer through our hardest fights, and see if your builds are actually good or just a meme. Mark your calendars, because it’s gonna be a ride.

Full release? Not yet. But we’re so close we can taste it. Right now, we’re tweaking balance, fixing last-minute jank, and making sure every hit, dodge, and ability feels chef’s kiss perfect.

This game is our blood, sweat, and way too many energy drinks. Your support, your “when’s the demo???” comments, and your patience have been carrying us through every late-night panic session.

This year was huge for us—not just as devs, but as a team. We fought through crashes, reworks, and the existential dread of debugging. But we made it. And we couldn’t have done it without you all roasting us in the comments.

Greetings, warriors! In this edition of our devblog, we're excited to share with you the latest and greatest from our development journey. From brainstorming sessions to final implementations, every step has been a thrilling adventure, and we can't wait to give you a glimpse into our world.

[h3]The Guardian of the Misty Forest: Our First Boss[/h3]
So there we were, brainstorming, and suddenly it hit us: what's more "evil forest" than a giant, ominous tree? Sure, it might seem a bit classic, but hey, classics are classics for a reason, right? We thought, let's give this old idea a new twist. And boom, our first boss was no longer just a tree, it became the embodiment of the forest's dark side.



[h3]Trents: Mini Menaces[/h3]
We wanted some quirky sidekicks for our boss so the Trents were born. They're like little siblings who are cute but can cause a whole lot of chaos.



[h3]Huldra: The Mystic Forest Diva[/h3]
Huldra was such a fun character to create. We dove into some old myths, and found this! She's not just lurking in the forest, she IS the forest, and she's all about that mystical vibe.



[h3]Weapon Showcase: Because More is More[/h3]
Weapons brainstorming sessions are the best. It's like, "What if we make a gun that does THIS?" And then we actually make it happen!
