VILDE ROADMAP

[p]Hey everyone.[/p][p]We’ve been reading your feedback seriously, all of it and yeah, we agree: some things need to evolve. So we’re making real changes. Here’s what’s coming soon.

Let’s break it down.

[/p][p]Vilde 1.1 — STARFALL[/p][p]Charms (Amulets) Every run going to start with a unique charm that gives you a cool passive effect. To unlock them, you’ll need to complete certain in-game goals so your runs stay fresh and actually mean something.[/p][p]A few examples:[/p]
  • [p]Fireseed Charm – enemies catch fire and explode.[/p]
  • [p]Heimdall’s Eye – hitting enemies stacks up crit damage.[/p]
  • [p]Breezweaver – move faster after dashing.[/p]
[p]They must change how you play.
[/p][p][/p][p]Starshards (Ultimates)
We’re adding a whole new tier of abilities you can craft using Stardust.
They’re strong and limited, and if you time them right they can save a bad run or supercharge a great one.[/p][p]Examples:[/p]
  1. [p]Joker Buff (random 8s powerup, once per arena):[/p]
    • [p]Mad Speed: shoot faster, aim worse[/p]
    • [p]Glass Edge: massive damage, take more in return[/p]
    • [p]Golden Touch: kills drop extra gold
      (one triggers per fight — no repeats)[/p]
  2. [p]Berserker Mode – huge melee boost + lifesteal.[/p]
  3. [p]Runic Beacon – place it down, and for 60s, enemies nearby drop extra gold + sap when killed.[/p]

We’re reworking shooting animations and FX so fights feel tighter, punchier, and just better overall. You’ll feel it.[/p][hr][/hr][p]Graphics & Performance Overhaul
New visual presets mean the game should run better on more machines. More stable FPS, less stutter, and clean visuals — regardless of setup.[/p][hr][/hr][p]What’s Next — Vilde 1.2

Rune Update

[p]Hey everyone![/p][p]We've made some tweaks and added new runes to freshen up your tactics and offer new approaches to combat. We've also squashed a bunch of bugs—thanks to everyone who helped us track them down![/p][h3]New Runes: Time to Experiment[/h3][p]We’ve added 18 new runes. Here are some highlights:[/p]
  • [p]Lightning’s Reach Lightning damage now arcs to nearby enemies, great for crowd control.[/p]
  • [p]Berserker’s Momentum Damage increases as you focus on a single target—perfect if you don't like distractions.[/p]
  • [p]Berserker’s Patience Standing still gradually boosts your damage. Ideal for patient warriors.[/p]
  • [p]Cold Precision Increased crit chance against frozen targets.[/p]
  • [p]Ice Burn Fire and ice combine to create explosive effects. Opposites attract, after all.[/p]
  • [p]Ethereal Surge Dash now knocks back nearby enemies, helping you maintain personal space.[/p]
  • [p]Coward’s Instinct Taking damage temporarily boosts your movement speed. Not heroic, but handy.[/p]

  • [p]Berserker’s Momentum: Consecutive hits on the same enemy grant +1% weapon damage, stacks up to 30%, resets when changing target.[/p]
  • [p]Berserker’s Patience: Standing still grants +10% damage per second (max +50%), lost upon movement.[/p]

  • [p]Sigil of Mastery: Each unique element on equipped shards reduces ability cooldown by 5%.[/p]
  • [p]Coward’s Instinct: Taking damage grants +50% movement speed for 3 seconds.[/p]
  • [p]Flash Strike: Melee swings hit an additional time for 50% damage.[/p]
  • [p]Momentum Transference: Dash refreshes a random ability on cooldown (10s cooldown).[/p]
  • [p]Elemental Conduit: After using an ability shard, next melee hit deals +50% elemental damage.[/p]
  • [p]Blade-Fused Armor: Successful melee hits restore 1 armor point (max 1 per second).[/p]

FIXES, FIXES, FIXES!

[h2]🛠 Hey everyone![/h2][p]We’ve seen your feedback — and thank you for being honest with us.[/p][p]Some parts of the game didn’t land the way they should’ve, especially the feel of combat and balance.
But we’ve been working non-stop to fix it — and today we’re releasing a big update that tackles major bugs, improves gameplay flow, and sharpens the visuals across the board.[/p][hr][/hr][h2]✅ What We’ve Already Done[/h2]
  • [p]Black screen on launch (which happened in ~10% of runs) — finally fixed. That one was rough.[/p]
  • [p]Everything’s faster: +75% reload speed, +50% weapon swap speed, +200–300% faster ability casting.[/p]
  • [p]Rebalanced HP, melee damage and time-to-kill.[/p]
  • [p]Better combat feedback: hitsparks, hit-flash, clearer status effects.[/p]
  • [p]Ability shards can now be used while shooting with any weapon (!).[/p]
  • [p]Removed annoying noise on lower graphics settings.[/p]
  • [p]New graphics presets — faster and better-looking across the board.[/p]
