Greetings Talented Gamers!

Another couple of weeks have passed and we're still hard at work on the 1.1 update - this week we have one of our most ambitious undertakings yet to reveal!

[h2]New Environments[/h2]



That's right, we know some of you have been beating your runs on the same Talented bridge for years at this stage - it's only fair you get the oppertunity to shake things up!

Coming with the 1.1 update to all owners of Talented we have the Build-A-Beast Workshop environment!



Simply win a run on our original 6 Classes and you'll have access to the dark factory where our enemies are constructed.

For those who pick up the Wave of Shadows DLC, you'll have instant access to the Nightshade Grove.



Not only does this environment give Talented an entierly new feel, those willing to experiment can discover some of the hidden secrets within the forest and even unlock a special reward!



We're extremely proud of all of the detail in both of these new worlds, and we're definitely interested in creating more if they are recieved well!





And there we have it, we've almost revealed all of the main features coming in 1.1 and Wave of Shadows so. As you can imagine, we're almost ready to reveal the launch date - so stay tuned for that! And, of course...

Hello Talented Gamers!

We hope you're all enjoying the Bandit Buffs and changes to how Lighting is handled on the Talent Tree. Feedback so far seems very positive, we'll continue to check in between now and 1.1 as there's plenty of time to add some more tweaks where needed.

Speaking of time - we've had a few requests to know the release date for Wave of Shadows (the DLC coming along side 1.1). We're not quite ready to pin down the release date at the moment, other than Spring 2025 - but rest assured there will be a Release Date announcement with plenty of time before release both in a Steam News Post and on our Discord.

So.. what are we talking about this week?

[h2]Ninja Challenges[/h2]

Oh of course! Ninja will be getting his own set of 6 Challenges with the DLC - unlockable by completing runs on Mastery 5, 15 and 25 with the Class.

[h3]Locked and Unloaded[/h3]



This Challenge gives you a generous 40 starting Ammo in your Clip. The only problem is, when you're out of ammo - you're done for!

You'll need to increase the size of your clip on the Talent Tree before there's too many enemies to handle

[h3]More Than Eyes[/h3]

In More Than Eyes, your vision will be heavily restricted so you'll need to think quickly to take on the hordes of enemies.



Luckily your Vision on the Talent Tree is massively increased - allowing you to plan as far ahead as you like.



There's also some special synergy with one of Ninja's most unique Talents..



[h3]The Archivist[/h3]



In the style of the very popular Long Strange Trip and Wealth Management, this Challenge will give you the goal of reaching the highest Reputation Level with the exclusive Archivist Clan - all without ever leaving the Talent Tree.

There are unique Quests and Talents to combine with the Talent Tree Mobility of the Ninja, so this should be a true Challenge of your skill tree traversal!

[h2]Rewards[/h2]

Of course Ninja will also have his own set of rewards! There are 3 unique Skins and 3 unlockable Legendary Talents to collect.



The Cyber Ninja really means business, but unlocking him will be a true test of your reflexes.



Looking to truly make the most powerful Souflame build? You'll need Eternal Embers on your side. Those of you who read Devlog #74 will probably have already spotted one of the most busted synergies in Talented history!
