Blood Rush Early Access - Third patch

[/p][p]I hope your journey throught Hell is going great :)[/p][p]Blood Rush is now part of the Steam Bundle containing my other games.[/p][p][/p][p]This is probably the last patch only focusing on bug fixes, I'll resume my work on game's content.   • [p]Nerfed a synergy that oneshotted any mob.[/p]

Thanks for playing the first version of Blood Rush, some issues have been escalated so here is the first patch, I'll probably do a second one soon since I did not have the time to adress every single report here and it is getting really late.[/p][p][/p][p]I'm so glad you are all enjoying the game, here is the changelog.[/p][p][/p][p]

[h2]About Blood Rush[/h2]
Blood Rush is an intense, fast-paced first-person shooter with roguelite mechanics.
As Nicolas, you’re trying to escape from a Dante-inspired Hell, climbing through each layer to reach the surface. Thankfully, you’ll get help from Gods, Angels(?) and mythological beings to grow stronger and make your way out.

You’ll face a wide variety of enemies and powerful bosses along the way, you’ll have to fight through them all if you want a chance to see the sunlight again.



[h2]About Early Access[/h2]
First of all, if you played the demo, there's so much more content in the full game now. I'd say at least 4-5 times more, and that's just for the current Early Access version! I'm super excited to release the game in Early Access, especially since it's my first time doing so. I genuinely feel that I've grown a lot while developing Blood Rush, and I believe this Early Access launch is in a much stronger state than any of my previous game releases.

Early access will be the chance to work on the game with regular feedback from players in order to improve it with each update. I'm really looking forward to that.



[h2]About the updates[/h2]
My current plan is to alternate between small and large content updates. Originally, I was aiming for just 4-5 major updates to complete the game, but I’ve decided to release more frequent smaller patches and updates to address feedback and fine-tune things between the bigger milestones.

I already have the general roadmap laid out, but I’ll definitely be incorporating your feedback along the way. In fact, I’ve already planned some reworks and additions based on suggestions from the Discord forums, those updates will be dropping very soon after release!

Blood Rush post steam fest demo patch notes

First of all, thank you for playing the demo and giving feedback about the game! The full game is coming out the first half of this year in yearly access, and I'm so excited to deliver!

Most of the feedback were positives and really encouraging, some were less but I've addressed some issues with the patches during the steam fest.



Changes :
  • Updated the weapon codebase to support input buffering. (better gunfeel)
  • Revamped some old animations.
  • Updated some musics. (better mastering)
  • Added Russian and Italian translations.
  • Small optimisations.

  • Fixed an issue that would freeze the game when shooting enemies.
  • Fixed an issue that would allow weapon duplication.
  • Fixed an issue that would allow to equip 3 weapons before upgrading your weapon capacity.
  • Fixed multiple crashes linked to interactions.
  • Fixed an issue where the weapon inspect animation kept playing when no weapon were held.
  • Fixed an crash when quitting less than 0.5sec into the first corridor.
  • Fixed some collisions issues.
