Closed Alpha 6 - 11/12/24 Patch

[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]
  • Fixed Neith Backflip not going on cooldown if used near a wall
  • Fixed Khepri Basic Attack dealing Physical Damage
  • Fixed Zeus Thunderclap going on cooldown when interrupted in the pre-fire
  • Knockups will now properly interrupt dashes that aren't knockup immune
  • Combat Blink is now canceled whenever you're Silenced
  • Grabs no longer have "client authoritative" movement
  • Added Stability Improvements
  • Added more gods to the god fallback list for when vendors fail to load
  • AI matches - Fixed Bots not picking the correct lanes/roles

Smite 2 unveils its next 19 gods with an exquisite PowerPoint

Smite is one of the all time great tactical multiplayer games, but its successor hasn't gotten off to the smoothest of starts. Sure, Smite 2 is currently in an early access alpha state, but with mixed Steam reviews and Valve's own new MOBA project Deadlock stealing a lot of attention in the genre right now, things could be going better. However, Titan Forge is hard at work trying to turn things around, and what better way to generate some excitement than to reveal the next 19 gods that will be added to the game over the course of the next three months or so.

Closed Alpha 5 - 11/6/24 Patch

[h3]Surrender rules are now at parity with Smite 1[/h3]
In a 5 player team:
  • 4-1 surrenders:
  • 3-0 surrenders: on vote timeout if 2 players don’t vote
  • 3-1 surrenders on vote timeout if the last person doesn’t vote.

If theres a single DC:
  • 3-1 surrenders
  • 2-2: Surrender doesn’t go through

If there is 2 DC’s:
  • 2 votes surrender.
  • Addressing "Waiting on Players" from getting stuck forever
  • Added visual feedback when waiting on player connections from queue
  • Fixed Baron's Brew projectile hit radius from going outside it's intended area
  • Fixed players aiming in a wall being unable to drink Baron's Brew
  • Corrected Aegis self silence to 1.5s
  • Fixed Mint Choco Ymir swapped VGS lines for VA2/3
  • Fixed Cacodemon Ymir VGS not working (still need to fix jokes, laughs and taunts)
  • Fixed a noise playing whenever spectator swaps between players.
