Closed Alpha 3 - 10/12/24 Patch

  • Fixed an issue where Mordred's Shoulder Charge would be stuck on cooldown after a single use. NOTE - this issue will persist in Jungle Practice but has been resolved in PvP matches

  • Fixed a client crash case
  • Fixed an issue where the Titan was regenerating more health than intended. Reduced Titan healing from 4% to 1.5% per second
  • Fixed an issue where chat was showing None on VGS prompts at times
  • Fixed an issue where Nu Wa during Ultimate did not go through deployable walls
  • Fixed an issue where Nu Wa fog did not reveal enemies on the mini map.
  • Fixed and issue where the Funky Grooves Bacchus Skin was using the Default Bacchus voice pack
  • Added new input lock mode for VGS to allow Keyboard input VGS while playing with a controller

  • Increased Cooldown from 90s to 100s

  • Increased Damage Scaling from 65% INT to 75% INT
  • Increased Explosion Damage from 10/20/30/40/50 to 10/25/40/55/70

  • Fixed several crash cases
  • Fixed an issue where Baron's Brew would show in item store even if Baron Samedi wasn't in the match
  • Fixed an issue where Baron Samedi could not Crit
  • Fixed Leviathan's Hide still having 50 protections instead of 30
  • Fixed an issue with Mordred Ult where the first aerial launch would permanently leave the camera zoomed in.
  • Fixed an issue with Mordred Ult where he would slide along Odin's Ring of Spears
  • Included a potential Fix for Athena's Ascension Pass not being able to be purchased (we'll be monitoring this issue to see if this fix was successful or not)

  • Mysterious Warrior Mulan won the community vote and will be the base version in SMITE 2! The team is also looking into updating her name to be Hua Mulan.
  • A new Patch went live today with balance mostly focused on bringing down various sources of Cooldown Rate on Items. Check out the full notes here.
  • Anubis and Ymir are on the team's radar for additional nerfs in the near future. Be on the lookout for a new patch later this week!
  • God Reworks - The crew talked about our approach to reworks in SMITE 2. We're looking at Gods on a case by case basis and evaluating them. Some characters notorious for their balance (IE: Nox, Persephone, etc) may get heavier changes, but we want to make sure we try to stay true to the character identity players have come to know
  • The team is continuing to work on Spectator improvements to make sure the Founder's Series LAN in January has the best possible viewing experience!
  • Hercules is CONFIRMED as the second god coming in the next Update alongside Danzaburou! He's getting a slight model update. Be sure to tune into Titan Talk on Friday at 1pm ET where we'll have our Art Director, Ben, show him (and more Gods) off!
