Muted not Silenced Update: Character Abilities and Pills
The Muted not Silenced Update is here!
Make sure you have enough time to read and let the updates this month sink in... We watched you early Alpha players play, we listened to you, and read your suggestions, and we hope the update satisfies your expectations:
ːsteamthumbsupː Abilities...
They are shaken to their core
1- Your character unlocks abilities based on your Fighter mastery, and no longer based on your Deck mastery (being phased out)
2- No more fusing. Abilities level up automatically with each kill. Random abilities on your deck are selected.
3- Moreover, you gain pills, leaves, and powder (let's call them essences!) with each kill, they allow you to further level up the abilities you chose, giving you some level of strategy and flexibility in planning as essences can be used on abilities that are not in your deck, and which you may want to groom for later on or for different modes
4- You don't have to collect abilities level ups from loot anymore, you automatically gain them at the end of each battle, whenever your character dies or leaves the battle.
5- Of course, this now spills over to guilds: donations are made of essences! Your guildmates may have essences they don't need but which you do. This way, your guild becomes a sort of a meta-character on its own, if you chose complementary paths, the essences you collect will be complementary.
ːsteamthumbsupː Player-owned Crafting stations...
Took a while to prepare, but a must in a player-driven economy.
1- Each town now has land plots available for bidding by players. Bids reset every month.
2- Land plot owners can build the crafting station they desire.
3- Each crafting action done at a crafting station consumes figs deposited by the owner. The owner decides the figs to coins conversion ratio, which drives the price of crafting.
4- Figs consumed by each crafting stations are pre-determined by the system.
ːsteamthumbsupː New Town Art...
Arzol, Hermelis, and Akaria all got a new layer of make up. Take your time to do some tourism and hope you enjoy them!
ːsteamthumbsupː New Abilities Associated with the Eclipse Charm...
Driving a totally new way to look at your deck's strengths and weaknesses
ːsteamthumbsupː Mounts durability now decays...
The cycle of life
ːsteamthumbsupː Bugs and QoL...
Many, many, many bugs squashed and improvements to QoL
We are at your disposal for any suggestions.
Enjoy!
