Forza Motorsport Introduces Road Atlanta and Multi-Class Racing

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

Host your own series at Road Atlanta using our spotlight car, the 2011 Ferrari #62 Risi Competizione 458 Italia GTC, or compete with one of our other 2 reward cars created specifically to blur the line between road and racecar: the 2018 Aston Martin #97 AMR Vantage GTE and 1998 Nissan #23 Pennzoil NISMO Skyline GT-R.

More action, greater skill, and new challenges await in Featured Multiplayer as Multi-Class Racing comes to Forza Motorsport with the return of the Endurance Series! Test your speed while reacting to changing circumstances, battle for position while encountering slower cars, and see how much time you can gain against faster classes. Thanks to popular player demand, both the Endurance Series and Multi-Class Racing will remain in Forza Motorsport after Road to Race Month.

Additionally, thanks to player feedback, we've increased the number of Open Classes w/ Multi-Class and one additional Open Class Series. Overall, Featured MP is focused on increasing variety through Featured, Spec, and Open Events.
Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta
Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta has attracted some of the best North American race series to roar around its course. Now back in Forza Motorsport, the track’s elevation changes and a wide variety of corner types make it ideal for testing the extreme performance of your favorite project car or fully tuned racecar!

Founded in 1969, this track has held many championships and formats that range from endurance racing to amateur challenges. Events currently hosted on this American classic include the Michelin Pilot Challenge, IMSA SportsCar Championship, and Formula D. Its full layout includes 12 turns and unique sections like the "esses" between turns 3 and 5, and the downhill turn 12.

Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta features a 2.54-mile Full Circuit with 12 turns and a 1.77-mile Club Circuit with 9 turns. Challenge both layouts in Time Attack and use your favorite tuned cars to rise in the global leaderboards, or race on them in Career and Featured Multiplayer, or host your own events on Road Atlanta in Free Play and Private Multiplayer.

Our next track release is scheduled for Update 13, which we expect to be available in mid-October.
Experience the Road to Race Tour
In Career Mode, dive into the world of road cars and their racecar variants.

Experience Chevrolet Corvette, Ferrari 458 Italia, Lamborghini Huracán, and Porsche 911 GT3 in the Road to Race Tour. See firsthand all the differences between these incredible machines as you drive in the road version of these cars followed by their racing counterparts.

Series 1: Road – 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

The 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06's racing DNA is as visible on its aerodynamic outside as it is on its powerful inside.

Powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine, this car sure knows how to leave its mark on the road and on the track.
Enjoy driving the Z06 for the first Road Series on the Road to Race Tour!

Series 1: Race – 2014 Chevrolet #3 Corvette Racing Corvette C7.R

It’s time to leave the road behind and enter the track on the next series of the Road to Race Tour, driving the racing version of the Z06: an endurance racing powerhouse built by the all-star team up of Corvette and Pratt Miller.

The naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V8 fitted in the C7.R has propelled it to win more than one Teams’, Constructors’, and Drivers’ Championships and an impressive #1 position at the 2015 big race.

Series 2: Road – 2009 Ferrari 458 Italia

The 2009 Ferrari 458 Italia is a convergence of power, aesthetics, and engineering.

Not only designed to look beautiful while you drive it on the road or the track, the 458’s exterior was also built to maximize aerodynamics and downforce.
Sitting in the middle of the car is what completes its awesome core: a 4.8-Liter Ferrari V8 engine that allows the 458 to reach 325 km/h top speed and go from 0-100 in 3.4 seconds.

Series 2: Race – 2011 Ferrari #62 Risi Competizione F458 Italia GTC

One of Ferrari's most successful racing cars enters the spotlight in the Road to Race Tour.

With an overall lighter body and improved downforce, the 2011 Ferrari #62 Risi Competizione 458 Italia GTC scored 15 Team Championships and over 100 race wins.
Mounted in the middle of the car, the GTC's V8 engine produces 500 horsepower. Take it to the limit on the Road to Race Tour!

Series 3: Road – 2014 Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4

Putting the best of Lamborghini's flashy style and the best racing engineering, the bull brand came up with a striking hypercar, the 2014 Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4.

From every angle, the LP-610 looks as you would expect a Lambo to look like; to reach the real substance of the car, you need to dig deeper into its hood to find the mighty V10 engine that powers a four-wheel drive system.
600 horsepower to tame both roads and tracks are at your disposal on the Road to Race Tour during its penultimate week.

Series 3: Race – 2015 Lamborghini #63 Squadra Corse Huracán LP620-2 Super Trofeo
To ramp up the antics on their already over-the-top Huracán LP610-4, Lamborghini gave the keys to their motorsport department, Squadra Corse, and created an endurance racer branded with the Raging Bull.
This extra powerful Huracán comes with a 5.2-liter V10 engine capable of putting out 612 bhp into the car's rear-wheel drive system.
Complementing the traditionally flamboyant body we are used to seeing from the brand, the Super Trofeo includes a rear wing and front bumpers that increase downforce and grip.
Put the racing twin brother of the Lamborghini Huracán to the track test in the Road to Race Tour.

Series 4: Road – 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 RS

Given the rear wing and striking engine, it might be a surprising contender, but the 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 RS is the final road car for the Road to Race Tour.

The GT3 RS is a track-focused version of the 911 we can all recognize from a mile away. You can see evidence of this design philosophy in its flat-six engine that puts out 500 horsepower and the suspension that gives this car supreme grip.
Drive the car that blurs the line between road and race with the Porsche 911 GT3 RS.

Series 4: Race – 2018 Porsche #73 Park Place Motorsports 911 GT3 R

Although the 2018 Porsche 911 #73 Park Place Motorsports 911 GT3 RS produces as much power as its road-focused version, this car's body and engine modifications give the extra kick the GT3 RS needs to be called a proper racer.

A conqueror of multiple tracks, this car has competed in several GT races and earned big wins at many of those events, including Petit Le Mans – a sportscar endurance race hosted annually at Road Atlanta.
Close out the Road to Race Tour on a banger with the ultimate 911 racer.
