v2.3a - Building Removal Hotfix

Hello! Just some quick fixes for some pretty important things. Deleting buildings permanently is pretty bad.
BUILDINGS:
• Fixed buildings not going back into storage when you remove them with another building.
 • Fixed the ferris wheel leaving behind the base when removed via the renovator. (It was actually left behind when you delete it normally, just invisible. Whoops!)
 • Fixed the phonograph not being solid.
 • When the town is renovating, the camera only moves to the newest building's position when it's offscreen.

v2.3 - The Renovator Update

Hello, Catalysts! This update's got some very highly sought-after improvements for how building things works.

Most notably, Decorations have had a huge rebalancing. They're now a lot stronger and more interesting to place down; As a decor takes up more space, the range it reaches gets further while the boost it provides gets weaker. This means you can get a LOT of decor overlapping one building to supercharge it.

Not only that, there's now what I call the Town Renovator! You now have three little snow globes in the buildings menu. Using one of these will swap out your ENTIRE town with whatever you have already stored in there. It's a really fast way to change your town's layout, or just bulldoze everything and try something new.

That's the most notable changes, but there's more than that! Here's the full patch notes:
BUILDINGS (Features):
• Added a Town Renovator! You can swap out your town layout using 3 different slots, letting you quickly clear out or change up your town.
 • Added a phonograph. It's buildable late in NG+ and plays a certain someone's tracks after their work is done.
 • Attempting to place a building over multiple others now stores all overlapping ones (and you still pick up the closest one)
 • A couple more decorations are now paintable. (Boss 4's table and candle, as well as some seasonal decor)
 • Added a secret to a building. (Hint: Bubble)
 • Pawn shops now offer stacks of 5 materials instead of single materials, making them more worth it for the real estate.
 • Warehouses now accept up to 12 sellable items and will attempt to distribute them to refill stores as well as materials.
BUILDINGS (Adjustments):
• Buffed overall decor range and strength. Now as a general guideline, the more space the decor takes up, the larger its range gets while the weaker its boost gets. There's a couple exceptions though to keep some interesting niches.

 • Slowed down the base rate of building updates: 20-25 minutes -> 25-30 minutes
 • Adjusted stats of some decor that didn't match the standard of the rest of the decor.
 • Increased level of T1 class shops, 1.0 -> 1.5
 • Fixed some incorrectly-colored building menu icons.
 • Buildings that hold items but don't sell them no longer contribute the items to town level. (refineries and the warehouse are the only buildings that do this.)
MENUS/UI:
• Added building UI displaying how decor affects them when you place something down.
 • Added update popups. These appear with a chime whenever something happens from real-time updates. Visits, purchases, taking quests, etc. (You can turn these off in the options menu.)
 • Added new UI to forbidden knowledge to make its effects clearer.
 • Fixed a long slowdown during judgement if you have an absurd amount of money from the previous run.
 • Fixed the camera during the ending breaking on very very wide windows.
 • Added visual variants for the loop badges when you get a lot of them.
 • Reading cards now makes the music quieter.
 • The screenshot buttons now display the town stats (if the option with menus visible is used) and the amount of loops completed.
 • Fixed the Menu-enabled screenshot button not displaying menus that were offscreen in-game.
 • The building menu now displays the number of each building placed in town.
 • Added more material sprites to one of the guide cards to hopefully encourage experimentation a little more.
PROGRESSION:
• Increased requirement for the Decorator achievement, 110% -> 200% total buffs (to account for decor being way stronger now)
 • Added an NG+ reward building for Boss 6's request
 • Loading in now checks to see if you're missing any achievement statues, then adds them back.
 • Fixed the Expansions statue not being unlocked correctly.
ADVENTURERS:
• Added sounds to NPCs spawning, making the music quieter for a second.

v2.2 - The One Year Anniversary Update!

Hello, Catalysts! It's been one whole year since the game first released, and I couldn't be happier with how everything has gone.

To celebrate, we've updated the game with some anniversary-related things, as well as some good old quality-of-life to hopefully make the early parts of the game easier and less...confusing. Maybe on my next game I should just explain everything with text, haha.
BUILDINGS:
• Added 3 new floor types: Brick, Quilt and Classic Rock
 • Added an anniversary shop! Sells random fireworks and a party hat.
 • Added a new set of decor! Things hanging on ropes, a new late-game flower, and a FIRE JET. Normal stuff.
 • Increased capacity per-item of Warehouses, 99 -> 999
 • Fixed the Incinerator not being solid.
 • Fixed a Hitching Post decor being buried in the ground.
PROGRESSION:
• Some old envelopes have appeared in the menus...They point out the basics of how each menu works. They show up as a hint button on those menus as well, so you can turn that off in the options.
 • Added more steps to the town expansion so that little task starts much earlier. There's now a trinket associated with it! If you're loading an old save file, it'll consider those already done.
ADVENTURERS:
• Added 5 new hats and 5 new heads.
 • Adventurers have a chance to be very color-coordinated...what do you think determines that?
MENUS:
• Added a rapid click function for the Materials menu; you can now hold rapid click to stack up mats EXTREMELY fast.
 • Added more clarification to the Decor hint card.

v2.1b - Small NG+/Building hotfix

Hello again, Catalysts! Very small hotfix today for some pretty important bugs.
BUGFIXES:
• Fixed a crash that happens when first starting NG+.
 • Fixed buildings becoming intangible if you cancel moving one.

v2.1a - Some Visual Fixes

Hello again, Catalysts! As is the nature of game development, no patch can survive being un-hotfixed for long. Here's some visual fixes regarding some new things added in v2.1.
ADVENTURERS:
• Fixed falling adventurers teleporting onscreen from above.
 • Made pets less prone to taking a bunch of tiny steps.
ITEMS:
• Fixed some missing names in new items.
 • Fixed incorrect sprites with some gem items.
 • Fixed negative stats on items using the wrong icons.
