[p]The fixes in this playtest are focused on performance and game-breaking bugs. We’ll have a larger, content-focused playtest later this month.[/p][p]Interested in joining the playtests? You can do so in one of two ways.[/p]
 1. [p]You can register at https://stoke.firstlook.gg. This method will get you into our private playtest community.[/p]
 2. [p]You can request access here on Steam by way of Tyr’s store page. This is our public playtest, and we’ll give access out in waves.[/p]
A new prototype map, Ruins, joins the rotation
[p]If you can join us for this weekend’s playtest, you’ll get a chance to play Ruins in matchmaking.[/p][p]Ruins is a new prototype map (with very temporary art) that features a narrower design with sheer drops on all sides. Yes, you can fall or push opponents to their death.[/p][p][/p][p]We’re looking for your feedback on this one, so please share once you’ve had a chance to play. All feedback is appreciated, but don’t hold back. The honest criticism helps us make Tyr a better game.[/p]
More charms hit the customization options
[p]At the last playtest, we debuted the Lucky Duck charm for players to receive through Territory Scan drops. In the playtest at the end of March, we’re rolling out two tiny tank charms.[/p][p]Ikarus and Valor will be available as drops earned via play. These tank charms clip on the back of the tank of your choice; you only need to unlock them once. Want to represent your main while tinkering with another vehicle? This is how you do it.[/p][p][/p]
The NDA lifts with this playtest
[p]Beginning March 14th, 2026, we’re officially lifting the NDA for the Tyr playtest. We feel we’re now in a place where we don’t mind sharing our development progress with the world, and we think we’d actually benefit from the broader reach and fresh feedback as our community talks about Tyr publicly.[/p][p]If you’re interested in learning more about and joining the Tyr Creator Program, sign up here: https://is.gd/TyrCreatorProgram[/p][p]So, on and beyond March 14th, 2026, feel free to stream, record, edit, and share your Tyr gameplay and thoughts. Yep, the lift comes just in time for a playtest. We’re looking forward to it.[/p][p]Finally, before we go, players interested in a competitive tournament later this month should hop into our Discord and ask for more info. We’re offering free agent and team sign-ups, and the winning teams (first and second place) will earn a cash prize.[/p][p]That’s it for this week’s dev update. Hope to see you in the playtest this weekend.[/p][p]Don’t forget to wishlist Tyr on Steam. 🫡[/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p][/p]
