[h2]WHAT CONTENT CAN I EXPECT?[/h2]


You will be able to explore half of the content, stories, missions, combats and side activities of chapter one in this demo!
In this initial chapter, you will experience your arrival in Bloomtown, forging your first friendships, earning your first coins, and gradually unveiling the 'peculiar occurrences' happening in town... leading to fighting your first demons in the Underside.

You will get to discover (or re-discover if you come from the Closed Alpha!) the numerous and various aspects of gameplay Bloomtown has to offer - in a nutshell, a narrative JRPG mixing turn-based combat, monster taming and social RPG elements!

The Bloomtown Closed Alpha will be available on PC Windows for Steam exclusively.

[h3]What is the difference with the Closed Alpha?[/h3]

We have taken into account player feedback to improve combat, improve tutorial on some key gameplay concept and change some part of the story.
The Closed Alpha also helped us improve the other three chapters for us to focus on the right features.

[h3]When will the game release?[/h3]

We are planning a release on Q3 2024. We moved back the release date by a quarter from our first announcement last year. We took that decision after taking into account player feedback provided during the december Closed Alpha, to be able to provide the best possible game experience to you all!

[h3]Will I be able to keep my progress at launch?[/h3]

The Demo is an early and short version of our game and subjected to change and improvement. Our goal is to gather feedback to eventually create the best possible version of the game. Before the full release, chapter 1 will have changed, meaning that, unfortunately, your progress will not be carried over.

[h3]Is playing on gamepad still mandatory?[/h3]

Gamepad is recommended to play the demo. Keyboard is usable but not customizable. This is why we recommend playing with a gamepad.

We have been working hard for a few years now to provide you with the best narrative JRPG, blending turn-based combat, monster taming & social RPG aspects. We have improved gameplay elements, mechanics and added a ton of content!

This Closed Alpha is being set up to test the game’s core mechanics and have your feedback to improve our full release, scheduled for 2024.

On a more concrete note, you will be able to explore the entirety of the first chapter of the game!
In this initial chapter, you will experience your arrival in Bloomtown, forging your first friendships, earning your first coins, and gradually unveiling the 'peculiar occurrences' happening in town... leading to fighting your first demons in the Underworld.
Lots of first as we want you to have the most exciting experience possible in this Closed Alpha!

You will get to discover the numerous and various aspects of gameplay Bloomtown has to offer - in a nutshell, a narrative JRPG mixing turn-based combat, monster taming and social RPG elements!
Those of you who are the most keen-eyed and thorough will even be able to uncover a cool hidden activity...



[h2]KNOWN ISSUES[/h2]

• Long loading times when moving to Suburbs and City Center.
  
• The game stutters for a bit after changing the resolution.
  
• Volume sliders are sometimes bugged.
  
• Companions stop following you after the game resolution is changed. They start following after you change the location or reload the save.
  
• Some quests are not marked on the map yet.
  
• Some spells don’t play the sound they are supposed to.
  
• Some minor visual glitches when using 16:10 resolutions are present.
  
• The wrong demon is displayed sometimes when you use a spell.

While there is no formal NDA in place, we kindly request players not to share gameplay content publicly, as it might not represent the final, polished experience. Your understanding and support mean a lot!

This is specific to the Closed Alpha which is only playable on gamepad however, mouse & keyboard control will be available at full release.

The Closed Alpha is a test period, our goal being to gather your feedback to eventually create the best possible version of the game. Before the full release, chapter 1 will have changed substantially, meaning that, unfortunately, your progress will not be carried over.

This varies depending on your playstyle: if you follow the main storyline, it should be around 3 hours long.
However, if you are exploring every detail we carefully put in there, it should be closer to 4-5 hours.

[h3]How long will this Closed Alpha last?[/h3]

It is starting today, on December 7th and will be closing on December 18th. After that date, we will be closing the Closed Alpha branch on Steam permanently.
