WarSphere will be free and here is why
WarSphere will release on 15th of February and the base game will be free. No micro transactions, since I don't like this concept. There will be a DLC to unlock further content.
What's the reason for this release strategy?
I’m doing game development as a hobby. Getting my game in front of people is more important to me than maximizing revenue. It is my first release and I want everyone to be able to ensure themselves that WarSphere is a well polished and fun game before purchasing the DLC.
Is the free base game a demo?
No. The free base game covers the first 2 out of 6 game modes that are available for the main game loop. All game modes unlock archive entries upon a successful run. End game features like community maps, daily time trials and ranked realms, will also be available in the free version. Therefore its a full experience.
What exactly will the DLC unlock?
The DLC 'The Worthy Branch' will unlock 4 new game modes, featuring 3 additional acts and worlds and additional endings. In these 3 acts, 35 new enemy types will be introduced.
Have fun! And don't let yourself get pushed into explosive barrels by giant mechs.
