I’ve seen a lot of questions about Playrooms lately, so let’s clear a few things up.

First: forget what you know from Dreampools or Eternal Suburbia. Every Dreamcore map is a self-contained experience with its own look, atmosphere, and mechanics. Nothing gets recycled.

Dreamcore is all about pushing the boundaries of liminal design, and Playrooms is no exception. Expect:

• A spectrum of distinct visual styles
  
• Bold, unexpected colour palettes
  
• Zones crafted to spark very different moods
  

Over the last two months I’ve combed through all your feedback on Dreampools and Eternal Suburbia, and many of those ideas are making their way into Playrooms. (Plenty more surprises are being saved for future maps, so you won’t see everything at once.)

And now the news you’re waiting for: the Playrooms showcase is live, and the update launches on 17 June. Watch the trailer to see why this map is truly unlike anything so far.

A stream to celebrate the MInimal & Chill Showcase we're taking part in.

[ General ]

- Added a new feature: Focus Pointer, which allows players to place a custom point on the screen.
- Added an option to disable chromatic aberration (only available when VHS mode is OFF.


[ Languages ]

- Added support for the following languages: Hungarian, Korean, Ukrainian, Catalan, and Polish.
- Improved translations and corrected various issues in Spanish and Russia.


[ Eternal Suburbia] – Major Update

- Expanded the bunker and laboratory areas with new rooms and branching paths.
- Reworked suburb transitions: elevators are now located only at the end, and players must now find red doors that lead to a red hallway to travel between suburbs.
- Fixed a bug where the player’s speed would become abnormally high after exiting the first suburb.


[ Dreampools ]

- Fixed an issue where systems without dedicated GPUs were unable to render lighting properly.
