One Dev to Rule Them All

[p]Dear MiLords & MiLadies,[/p][p] I wanted to highlight what's been happening behind the scenes since our last post, which was quite some time ago.[/p][p] Right now, the MiLord team is made up of only one developer: me. Without more hands on the project, progress has naturally slowed as compared to before. That being said, I am still entirely committed to seeing MiLord through to the end. It's taking longer than anticipated, but I'm working to advance the game every week. I can't express how much your kindness, support, and patience mean to me; they are the reason I can keep going through the hardest times.[/p][p] I'll keep posting updates whenever I have something noteworthy to present. Small Language Fix Patch

[h3]Bug Fixes:[/h3]
- Small language issues fixes. There shouldn't be any missing translations now. (Please report it immediately if you see one)
- ESC menu icon changed to make it more understandable at first glance.
- Language font optimization made to fix FPS drop on non-latin alphabets.

Developer Note: This is not a story update, just a quick fix for the missing localizations.

The First Month

[h3]Milords and Miladies,[/h3]

Today marks one month since MiLord entered Early Access—and what a journey it’s been! We’ve learned a lot, grown even more, and thanks to you, we’ve made some real progress toward the kingdom we’ve always dreamed of building.

Note: We don't have controller support. Yet...

From day one, you’ve stood by us, even when the game had its share of bugs, missing translations, and a story that felt more like a whisper than an epic. We heard your feedback loud and clear—and we’ve been working non-stop to fix and improve things.

[h3]Here’s where we stand:[/h3]

Most of the critical early bugs have been fixed. Even though there are still some exist, we're working on them to fix. And yes, we are aware that upgrading Village Center to Level 2 breaks it's functionality... 😅

The missing translations have been added. This wouldn't be possible without your help. We've inspected all the reported areas and fixed their problems. Some of these updates will be releasing tomorrow.

And, we’re thrilled to say we’ve started working with InEv Games to expand and enrich the narrative of MiLord.

For those who ask "Who are they?"; They are a team that focuses on developing heavily narrative driven games. We've met with them during the first week of our release. We want to thank them and share the games they are currently developing:

We heard your feedback, and that’s why we’ve teamed up with InEv Games to bring deeper, richer narratives into MiLord. Here’s a glimpse at one of the storylines we’ve been working on.



Of course, we didn’t stop at one. When we say we’re adding stories, we mean a lot of stories. Seriously, a significant number of decisions will be coming your way.



Just a little FYI: we’ve already got 24 stories in the game right now and we’re aiming for 330 by the end of the month. Yes, you read that right. Three hundred and thirty. That’s not a typo.



And no, we’re not stopping at stories. We know it’s not enough. That’s why we’re preparing a full lore behind the world of MiLord. Once the stories are in place, we’ll begin slowly integrating that deeper lore into the game.
