Implemented more detailed terrain generation! Added shield-bearing soldiers!

Update Notice

A new update has arrived! In Zundamon Castle, two new terrain detail modes (8m and 4m scale) have been added for creating more detailed Japanese terrain. Additionally, shield soldiers have been added as allies. In the next update, cavalry units are scheduled to be introduced.

  1. Japanese terrain generation now supports 8m and 4m scales
  2. Ninjas were weaker than other enemies, so a new ability was added: "Do not fall when attacked"
  3. Increased the number and level of ninja raids on higher difficulties (Adjusted slightly based on feedback from the beta version)
  4. Strengthened earthen walls to make them fire-resistant
  5. Added a warning note regarding 8m and 4m terrain generation: “Water representation may be unstable.” (Although existing river data for up to 16m scale was expanded, terrain issues occurred, so some roughness remains for now.)
  6. Optimized unit movement processing for better performance
  7. Production limits can now be set via long press and direct input

  1. Fixed a bug where training ground sounds would loop and overlap, causing the volume to increase.
  2. Fixed an issue where the number of Zundamon requiring rations in the top-right display would incorrectly decrease by the number of new recruits when building a barracks
  3. Fixed a bug where saving while in Challenge Mode would result in the mode being disabled upon loading (caused by the Challenge MOD feature)
  4. Fixed a bug where all buildings would default to the same recipe after loading if a default recipe had been set
  5. Fixed a bug where using old save data would cause soldiers to be issued pay repeatedly
  6. Fixed a bug where overlapping tasks for horse couriers would remain when using old save data
  7. Fixed a bug where tasks to transport equipment with value “0” would remain when using old save data

  • Fixed a bug where attack speed was not increasing as intended by the technology effects.
  • Fixed a bug where Firefighter Zundamon was not working even when fires occurred (due to an issue introduced by the fire retry handling).
  • Fixed a bug where, after changing a building’s recipe, items from before the change would drop to the ground and become uncollectible (caused by the removal of "Other" worker type).

Official Update: Now Compatible with the World Map!

Update Announcement

Starting with this version, Zundamon Castle is now compatible with the World Map!
By looking up the latitude and longitude of your favorite places in the world using Google Maps or similar services, you can now build your castle based on real-world terrain.

Note: When starting a New Game, please select "Choose Latitude and Longitude (World)".
To find coordinates, search for a place name in Google Maps, then right-click on the map to display the latitude and longitude. Click on the coordinates to copy them, then paste them into the latitude/longitude fields in the game.
Note: Terrain generation may not work properly in extreme latitudes, such as the Arctic or Antarctic regions.

  1. Fixed a bug where the bottom of the ground could be dug through
  2. Fixed an issue where, if the base was set to reject "influence", influence income per turn would fall to the ground and would not be converted. Now, "Influence", "Military Points", and "Money from defeating enemies" that are granted directly to the base will ignore storage settings and be stored properly

  • Added a "Detailed Information Panel" for units (accessible via the icon on the top right of a soldier)
  • Added a feature to set a building's default recipe in the building panel (lets you choose which production recipe to use when the building is constructed)
  • Slightly nerfed the performance of porcelain
  • Changed the behavior of ladder soldiers so that they now have a 50% chance to follow the same route as regular soldiers (this makes it more realistic for them to blend into regular units and build ladders, rather than advancing as a separate group)
  • Increased mouse wheel sensitivity on the job list panel
  • Added a feature where a red dot appears on the top time bar on turns when a challenge battle will occur
  • Changed map generation in high-altitude areas to produce more trees than before

  • Added a Job List Panel (accessible from the job assignment panel by clicking the “Book” button)
  • Enhanced the selling price and productivity of porcelain (may be a bit too strong, so further adjustments are possible)
  • Changed the retry specification to partially restore the fire conditions at the start of battles
  • Slightly decreased the speed at which Shura's regular raids become stronger
  • Slightly widened the collision detection for Worker Zundamon (they now more visibly avoid or bump into each other)
  • Fixed the victory animation so that it now plays even during time stop

  1. Fixed a bug where decorations were not saved when repeatedly saving and loading
  2. Fixed a bug where enemies continued to target buildings even when line of sight was blocked by placed shields
  3. Fixed a freeze bug that occurred when setting warehouse storage due to the absence of “Other” workers
  4. Fixed a bug that temporarily prevented save data from being loaded (occurred only between 17:00–18:00 on 08/26)
  5. Fixed a bug where, if items not yet transported existed when canceling a warehouse storage setting, those items would return to the warehouse upon loading
  6. Fixed a bug where, if items were dropped on the floor after canceling storage settings, they overwrote the warehouse’s dictionary and caused stored contents to disappear (this bug had been reported before, but the recent requests helped identify the cause)
  7. Fixed a bug where the tasks of horse transporters were duplicated on each load, resulting in a single horse transporter performing massive transport
  8. Fixed a bug where, due to widened hitboxes, worker Zundamons could push each other outside the map upon collision, causing the game to freeze
