[p]Hey everyone![/p][p]Today we want to introduce

Quick note: Due to sharing rights, we can't mention Alban's previous works by name. But if you search for Alban Sautour online, his work will come up, and we're sure you'll enjoy it as much as we do![/p]
About Alban
[p]Alban's portfolio spans continents and creative fields. He's worked alongside filmmaker Michael Haneke as a sound engineer, produced an entire album for a Chinese singer (handling everything from composition to production), wrote a Danny Elfman-style backing track for a documentary, and even performed a song for a Brazilian film that the director loved so much it became the end credits track.[/p][p]Alban favors full creative freedom, and he has the skills to back it up. With a classical music background and years of experience as a sound engineer, his ear is both musical and technical.[/p][p]

[/p][p]He sees the pursuit of great music as a permanent quest, and believes his defining achievement is probably still to come. That hunger to keep growing is exactly why we wanted him on Space Tales.[/p]
How He Works
[p]Alban's music is rooted in spontaneity, free from rigid production structures. This made our studio and Alban click immediately: we both believe that for great creativity, sometimes the first instinct is the right one.[/p][p]His work with us has been part guide, part collaborator. Sometimes we know exactly what we want; sometimes we need to experiment. Alban's involvement with Space Tales has been essential for pushing us toward places we wouldn't have gone on our own.[/p]
Why Music Matters to Us
[p]As RTS developers, we know music plays a huge role in making battles feel intense and victories feel earned. The ups and downs of our story hang heavily on the soundtrack too: a quiet moment of exploration, the tension before an ambush, the triumph of holding a base against overwhelming Nexera odds. Music carries all of that.[/p][p]We also know that players don't usually list music as their top priority when choosing a game. But in reality, we all want awesome tracks in our ears when we're in the zone, commanding troops and making split-second decisions. A great soundtrack doesn't just accompany gameplay; it elevates it. Years from now, we want players to hear a track from Space Tales and immediately remember the moment they turned the tide in a campaign. That's the kind of impact we're aiming for.[/p]
What to Expect in Space Tales
[p]As the journey of the Space Tales campaign unfolds, each world we visit will have its own emotional context and sonic identity, drawing you deeper into each environment.[/p][p]Alban is a fan of musical quotation (as he says, everybody's been doing it for centuries), so expect references to sci-fi's rich sonic history: synth textures, electric guitar atmospheres, vintage drum machines, and creative percussion effects. The very first piece he created for the game came from an exploration session with a guitar amp simulator plugin, just playing around with sounds until he thought, "This would make a nice backing ambience for the intro scene." That experimental spirit runs through the whole soundtrack.[/p][p]

[/p][p]Alban wants you to enjoy the ambience, feel more immersed in the universe we're building, and maybe fall in love with a musical style you didn't know was for you. For him, that's the best reward.[/p][p][/p]

[p][/p]
Thank You, Commanders! 🚀
[p]We couldn't do any of this without your support. Here at Saigon Dragon Studio, we're a small Vietnamese indie team of RTS fans building the game we've always wanted to play. Every wishlist, comment, and share means a lot to us. [/p][p]Early access on Steam is drawing close. We'll announce the specific date soon, but it will be just a few days after Lunar New Year, the most special holiday in Vietnamese culture. What better way to kick off a new year than by launching our first game?[/p][p]Until next time,
The Space Tales Team at Saigon Dragon Studio[/p]
