This is an early look at a dark action-adventure inspired by Slavic folklore, bad decisions, and heroes who probably should have stayed home.

The demo opens with the return of a young bogatyr known as Kestrel and his mentor, Vasily the Drunkard, after a long campaign. On the road to Alaborg, in the restless Borderlands, they come across a mysterious Toadling who has been attacked by bandits from Nightingale the Robber’s gang. Since dealing with common thieves is hardly a hero’s work, Vasily leaves it to Kestrel, agreeing to meet again on the far side of the Somber Forest.[hr][/hr]
The first area is a linear tutorial zone made up of three biomes: the Somber Forest, the Flatlands, and the Snowy Mountains with cave-dungeon sections.

- 7 enemy types, including 2 empowered (elite) variants
- A unique boss, whose defeat rewards valuable resources and gear for the journey ahead
Progression and exploration
After clearing the first location, you will reach the village of Kodok and Vorosha, a more open area where the game’s core systems come into play:
- Meeting the peaceful inhabitants of the Land of Towns
- Completing side quests (12 available in the demo)
- Hunting down pieces to assemble a full set of enchanted armor

- 3 puzzles
