The Portals are open: Our Demo is now available

We hope that you are as excited as us, that you can finally jump in and get to try a bit of the magic of what is to come.



Because we know it's more fun to try things by yourself than read about them we will avoid spoilers and only mention here the highlights of what is available for you in the demo

  • The first 4 maps for you to explore (the full version will have 20+)
  • The beginning of the main quest and some side quests
  • 13 out of the 100+ Porbles are there to be battled and captured by you
  • Wild Porbles and baddies battles for you to show off your battle strategy skills
  • Traps and puzzles to overcome
  • Lots of NPCs and critters living in the world.
  • Multiplayer chat




Keep in mind that this is just the first version of our demo and we plan to keep updating it regularly until the full version is released. As such there are things that are not yet available in the demo. We will keep doing update logs to let you know of any new features.

Things not (yet) available

  • The Fusion system (but you can already visit the fusion lab)
  • Architect Mode
  • PVP mode
  • Translations in other languages. We are currently working on improving all the non-English fonts, so the dialogues are all in English. You can have some UI items in other languages but they will be far from optimized.

Charpup! I choose you

Next week we will release our first demo and you know what that means?
That's right! It's time the start your adventure (even if it is just a small taste of it) and start catching some porbles.
But in order to do that, you will need to get to JeeJee so she can help you with your starter Porble.



As is the tradition in monster catching games you will be able to choose between 3 different porbles from different elements.

So let's meet them

[h2]Groobeet[/h2]

We start with our emotional turtle Porble from the Gaia Element



Groobeet is a very emotional Porble, and cries at any sign of wickedness, no matter how small. It once started sobbing when a man ate pineapple on pizza.

[h2]Axolil[/h2]

Then we have our solitary Axolil from the Water Element.



Axolil hates others and isolates itself, making it difficult to find. It would happily go a day without eating if it meant it didn’t have to see anyone.

[h2]Charpup[/h2]

And finally, we got our friendly but fiery Charpup.



Along with its adorable appearance, Charpup can read. Its favorite genre is romance, but it also really enjoyed reading “The Lord of the Porbles”.

How fabulous is your hair for dimensional travel?

Picture this. You are about to start an epic adventure that will change not only your fate but the fate of the world. What is the first thing you need to take care of? That's right! Make sure you look fabulous.

That is the case in Portal Fantasy. Before you face the world and even think about catching your first porble you will have the chance to decide on how you look to the world using our Character Creator system



From head to toe, you can choose your favourite style.
  • Want to have red hair with pigtails and a gorgeous pink dress? We gotcha!
  • Spiky dark hair to match your treasure-hunter suit? Right on it!
  • The shiniest golden suit so people don't notice your balding grey hair? Done!

The possibilities are so immense that it will be hard to bump into another player in the world that looks like you.
But if you are truly a fashion guru your work is not done yet. Time to visit the twins over at the Enchantera Shop



There you will have an impressive array of hats, capes and necklaces to truly show the world that you are the most stylish hero this universe has ever seen.



With all of this you can create millions of combinations and create a unique look. Think how awesome your statue will look in the middle of the town square where people can admire your immense fashion style for generations. Well, that and how you saved them all...

Why mod when you can create?

Did you ever look at a game level and think "Well that is a nice map, but if I was the one making it I would do this instead"?

In that case, we have something cool to show you.
Presenting the Architect.



As an Architect you will be able to build your own levels for yourself, your friends, and other players to play. Although what we are about to show you is still a limited early version of it, we were way too excited to not reveal it already.
So keep in mind the following:
  • Everything here is in development so it might change (and if it does it will be to improve it).
  • Nothing has been sped up. It is all in real-time.
  • This is real "gameplay" footage, not concept art or a scripted scene.


If you decide to play as an Architect you will soon find out that building a world is not only fun but also fairly intuitive and easy. We are trying to make this into an experience that doesn't require any previous experience in game design and that you don't end up spending hours trying to get that stone corner to match the rest.
In little more than 10 seconds you can build some stone cliffs with swamp lakes for example.



Add some items like barrels and stones



And even create your ideal floor with our tilesets.



And if you change your mind or want to make something different you can always move items, remove or flip them for example.



And this is just the beginning, we are working on so many options that we hope you will enjoy. From critters to NPCs, custom-made quests and so much more. We can't wait to see what you can create with it all.

Fuuuuuusion

As you advance in the world of Portal Fantasy you will find harder enemies and challenges. But as a Hero, you will have your Porbles next to you, and with your guidance, they will keep leveling up and get stronger.
But sometimes leveling alone isn't enough. That is where Majesty comes into play.



Majesty is a ranking system. Most Porbles you will find will be at level 0 of Majestiy. But you can increase it with the help of the fusion room and some...sacrifices.

Following recipes that use other Porbles and materials you can harvest all over the world, you will be able to increase the Majesty of your Porbles. There are even rumors that with the right ingredients, some Porbles can obtain a new look.



Fusion will be available to any Hero that reaches Valeria, but you will have to use it strategically because beyond paying the price of sacrificing Porbles and other ingredients the Fusion Room will have a cooldown period before a new use. You know to recharge all the magical and technonlogical energy.
