Version 1.1 is Here — Steam Cloud, Battle Menu & a New You!

[p]Hello Portal Wanderers![/p][p]We’ve been listening, tinkering, and occasionally yelling at the Steam decks and cloud saving — and now we’re excited to announce that Version 1.1 of Portal Fantasy is officially live![/p][p]This update brings two of the most requested features, a full makeover for your player character and a host of fixes, optimisations, and quality-of-life improvements.[/p][p]Let's delve into more details[/p][p][/p]
Steam Cloud Save Support
[p]You asked, we answered — your progress can now be saved in the cloud. Pick up where you left off, wherever you’re playing. By default, your progress is saved locally on your machine, but you can manually save it to the cloud and restore it whenever you need to.[/p][p][/p]
New Battle Status Menu
[p]You want to see all your Porbles’ passives and active abilities during battle? Now you can! Just open the menu during combat and plan your next move with all the info at your fingertips. You can find what key to press to open it during battles, as it varies depending on the controller you are using.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Player Character Glow-Up
[p]We gave your character a full visual overhaul — sharper details, better animations, and even more charm.[/p][p][/p][p]Even better: you can now change your look anytime at the Mirror in the Enchatara Shop. Feeling like a whole new you? Just say hi to the mirror and refresh your style whenever you’d like. [/p][p][/p][p]And yes, you can now have more unique hair colours (yes, we did hear every time you requested them)[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]And Much More…[/p][p]We also squashed some pesky bugs, smoothed out rough edges, and added plenty of little quality-of-life improvements. [/p][p]One of them is something that occasionally has affected some of you. Floating platforms that decided to… float away into the void? Bugfixes version 1.0.14

This update was done during the weekend, but we decided to delay this announcement for a few days while we finished the new achievements images. Check them at the end or in your library ;)

[h2]MAJOR BUG FIXES[/h2]

- Fixed a hidden path that could cause a softlock in the clear water crater map.
- Fixed quest and reward notification triggers, where in some quests the rewards window would only open after opening another menu or chatting with an NPC.


[h2]BUG FIXES[/h2]

- Fixed a void in fractured sands you could walk on.
- Fixed some ruby pillars that could not be mined
- Fool's hat and other battle recovery items no longer revive downed porbles
- Prevented fusion error messages from when trying to update lower majesty augmentation slots.
- Preventing fusion from evolving porbles unless the stones are manually placed (this to avoid unwanted evolutions when adding all augments)


[h2]OPTMIZATION[/h2]

- Fixed a statue animation triggering too early in Fractured Sands.
- Added helper text to Majesty 3 altars stating which Biome is getting filtered to make it easier to understand what altar works for which porbles.
- Updating gear effect icons
- Fixing status effect icon alignment
- Preventing lootable items from not displaying the tooltip message of what you are missing if you have already attempted it once.

- Initiated a better way of displaying status effects. For now, most will be generic status effect icons with tooltips. Soon we will release a version that also works for controllers and is more complete.

Bugfixes version 1.0.12 & 1.0.13

Between bank holidays, a couple of Spring colds in the team, this update took a bit longer.

But it is a meaty one. In fact, so meaty that we ended up fusing 2 releases in one.

[h2]MAJOR BUG FIXES[/h2]
- Fixed some situations where crafted shovels would not work as planned
- Issue fixed with the dragon cave where players could get stuck in a loop.
- Majesty 2 and Majesty 3 Steam achievements should trigger now if they didn't work for you in the past (if you start the game, they will appear)


[h2]BUG FIXES[/h2]
- Fable chest can no longer give recipes for majesty stones, but will give majesty stones instead
- Fixed merchant in Under City, where, in some cases, purchases were not possible
- Fixed issue with recipe access in Springbloom
- Fixed a scenario where, after Silent Woods, Rudder conversation would not trigger the next quests immediately.
- Fixed Animkiig NPC animation not playing
- Fixed the hermit quest gate not opening after the end of the quest at Clear Water Crater, unless the game was restarted for some players
- Added extra support for NPC appear effect, which should remove the possibility of NPCS not spawning when they should.
- Fix for Dread Form and Eldritch Nightmate battle icons
- Majesty stones made Tier 3 treasure drop rather than Tier 4


[h2]OPTMIZATION[/h2]
- Improved some colliders in several maps to allow better passage and more fluid movement
- Improved Springbloom puzzle system since there was a chance players could lock themselves out after a specific set of actions.
- The End Game message has been rewritten to avoid confusion
- Updating default icon for gear effects
- Official controller input icons for Steam Deck
- Adding placeholders for status in-battle status effects + tooltips (working on the final ones as fast as possible, but wanted to give you guys something there already)
- Added some improvements that should support more controller models (do let us know in the Steam forums if this affects you still)


[h2]QOL[/h2]
- The Portal maps now highlight when you unlock a new map inside a biome
- Redeem codes have been removed from the main menu, to avoid a situation where players would redeem the codes before starting a new game, and items would be lost (and caused some issues with players with keyboards? )

There are some issues we are still investigating and solving as soon as possible

- In the Steam Deck, due to the increase of font in some areas the font overflows
- Reports of lag in some battles
- Player reports of battles freezing after a certain point (we are investigating what item , skill, porble is causing it)

Bugfixes version 1.0.11

Hey there. As you noticed we got slowed down this week. Unfortunately the blackout that affected some parts of Europe affected many of us.

But we are back and ready for more improvements.

Apart from fixes this version includes an improvement requested by some Steam Deck users. We increaced the font size there. Hopefully this will help you all and avoid any eye strain. Let us know what you think if you are using one.

We are still working on other QOLs like Steam cloud save and will keep you posted when those come out
