Demo v823 released

[p]This is a minor stability update to fix a startup crash experienced by Windows players with non-standard characters in their user name.
[/p][p]A side effect of this is that if you played a little bit before this update, and want to resume, you'll lose your progress and will need to restart.[/p][p]If that makes you sad, there's a workaround: copy the following folder with its contents: C:\\Users\\\\AppData\\Roaming\\kiyo and paste it in C:\\ProgramData\\ .[/p][p]In the future we will start supporting Steam Cloud saves, so there won't be such problems anymore.[/p][p]
Additionally, we fixed another, separate occasional crash.
[/p][p]Cheers,[/p][p]Pixel Rats
[/p]

Demo Status Report (1)

[p]Hey everyone! We're very excited the demo is finally out![/p][p]We are already at work to fix a known startup crash, affecting players with special characters in their Windows usernames.[/p][p]We'll update you when it's fixed, should be soon![/p][p]There is also another known glitch (flickering yellow rectangles) that only seems to occur on GeForce RTX 5090 video cards. [/p][p]We made Kiyo with a custom engine so, even after extensive playtesting, there might still be more bugs lurking on setups we didn't cover.[/p][p]That's why we'd love to hear about any issue from you on our Discord channel (link on our main Steam page), or directly here![/p][p][/p][p]We'll do our best to fix them all! A huge thanks to the players who already helped us investigate and fix some problems :)[/p][p][/p][p]Please bear with us! [/p][p]Good night, [/p][p]Pixel Rats[/p]
