[p]Greetings, drifters and explorers! [/p][p]We’re hosting our first closed alpha playtest from Friday, Oct 3 to Monday, Oct 6. A select number of players will get access to DDoD and help us test the game’s performance and stability.[/p][p]If you’d like to spend the weekend in the quarantine zone, sign up now to be among the first to cross the perimeter!
[/p][p]HOW TO GET IN[/p][p]Head to our Steam page and click REQUEST ACCESS to sign up for the playtest. We’ll send invites out randomly in the days leading up to October 3. Keep an eye on your notifications.[/p][p]
WHAT TO EXPECT[/p]

• [p]Playtesters will get 30-40 minutes of early gameplay. You will: [/p]

• [p]Complete one of the game’s first missions[/p]

• [p]Survive several enemy encounters and get a feel for gunplay[/p]

• [p]Explore a small introductory area in the early game[/p]

• [p]Finish at one of the safe haven bunkers[/p]

Don’t expect full features just yet. This build won’t have most of the game’s systems like the intelligent Fog anomaly, mutations, side quests, trading, open world, etc. All of this will be coming soon in our future playtests and the upcoming demo. Stay tuned![/p][p]

[/p][p]We are The Future Entertainment Company, and  we’re thrilled to finally reveal DDoD for the very first time. 
[/p][p]DDoD is a top-down roguelite shooter with survival elements, built around a massive map. Play solo or team up with a few other players for co-op runs.
[/p][p]You arrive at the edge of the Purple Lands - a sealed-off industrial region struck by a sentient, mind-like substance known as the Fog. Exposure twists DNA in unpredictable ways. The cautious and the careful sometimes gain abilities no human was meant to have… but everything has a price.

• [p]Explore the Purple Lands. Once a thriving industrial hub, now a scar across the countryside, with towns, factories, bunkers, and forests built on real-world topography.[/p][p][/p]
• [p]Survive a living, shifting quarantine zone with dynamic weather, day/night cycles, and warped climates twisted by the anomaly.

• [p]Harness the Fog’s DNA-warping power to gain extraordinary abilities… and suffer the consequences

• [p]Fight in tactical combat encounters, with realistic ballistics, and enemies that react to noise, light, and your every move.

• [p]Progress roguelite-style. Key upgrades stay, but you’ll have to search for new gear or loot off your body if you die.
