1.02 Update

+Small Bug Fixes (including a bug where the game would crash upon reading the journal during one scene in particular).

Happy Spring! Siren's Call: Escape Velocity is 40% off!

Hey there everybody, Jacob here!

We did it. We survived the winter. I feel like celebrating with a sale, so for the next few days, Siren's Call: Escape Velocity and its DLC are 40% off!!!

Consider it a gift to those who haven't been able to play the game yet. I'm working on something big that I'm hoping to officially announce sooner rather than later, so I hope this sale can tide you all over until then.

Stay cool!

Yours,
Jacob

Siren's Call: Escape Velocity AND its DLC are on sale for Visual Novel Fest

That's right friends! We're participating in Steam's Visual Novel fest this year! It is an honor to be a part of such a fun event celebrating everything good about my favorite medium in gaming. As such, I have a special treat for you all: Siren's Call: Escape Velocity AND its DLC fan pack will be on sale for the entire event! You can get the game itself for 6 dollars, or bundle it with the DLC for 2 more dollars. Gift it to a friend to trap them in the hellscape that is central florida. Or just add the game to your ever increasing backlog of VNs. I know I'll be doing that this week with PLENTY of games, so join in the fun.

That's all for now friends! Thank you again for giving this little game of ours a chance. It means the most.

Stay cool,
Jacob

Here's a question for you all!

Siren's Call has been doing much better than I expected it would. I always thought it was the kind of game MAYBE my friends and family would play and that's it, but it resonated with far more people than I thought it would.

Hypothetically, what would you all want in a sequel?

I think it helps me as a developer to at least know what people's wants and expectations are. But mostly, I'm super curious.

Yours,
Jacob

We are just two reviews away from hitting a HUGE milestone!

We are just 2 reviews away from hitting 50 reviews on Steam!!!! This is a huge milestone! Thank you everybody who has left a review on this 6 year passion project of ours! If you've bought the game, please take the time to leave a small review, even if it's just a placeholder till you complete the game! Every little bit helps the game get shown to more people.

Once we get to 50, we earn the "very positive" tag on Steam, which helps us show the game to more people on the platform. Even if you're not the kind of person who tends to leave a review on Steam, this is the easiest way to help out a small, indie team like us, even more so than buying the fan pack.

Let's crush this goal, together!

Yours,
Jacob
