Big update! New scenes were added for every major journal page.

Some new music was added to certain scenes.

Hey everyone, Jacob here: the sole programmer and main developer of Siren's Call: Escape Velocity.

As many of you know, reviews are the easiest way to help out any small indie game because it lets Steam know people are interested in it. Because of this, hitting 20 reviews is the first seriously big milestone for Siren's Call: Escape Velocity, with the next one being 50. To everybody who has taken the time to review the game, you all are absolutely amazing and the lifeblood of this small community of ours. You have my eternal gratitude.

As a small treat to show my appreciation, I have decided to add a fun little feature to the game with our next update. In about a week, EVERY JOURNAL PAGE IN THE GAME WILL NOW HAVE ITS OWN DEDICATED SCENE (with the exception of the poems). Think something in the style of Higurashi's TIPS section. This has been something that has been recommended to me in the past, but the amount of overhead it would've created was staggering. I've decided to go forth with it though. If we get to 50 reviews, I promise to do something even more impact, but for now, this seems like a good way to show my thanks.

Siren's Call: Escape Velocity will be releasing for early access on Saturday!

Hello everybody, Jacob here!

I am thrilled to announce that after six years of work, Siren's Call: Escape Velocity is close enough to completion that I feel confident enough to release it on Early Access!!! Currently, the only features I have planned that aren't implemented are the translations and the new music, so I'm ready to hand things over to you all and see what you all think!

The game is playable from start to finish, but that doesn't mean I'm not open to recommendations! I hope you all enjoy what is here, but feel free to share your thoughts either here on the Steam forums or in the Discord if you want to message me about anything you want different.

You all rule! Can't wait to see you in Siren's Call!

Siren's Call: Escape Velocity is nearly complete!

It's been a while since my last update, but trust me when I say the wait has not been for nothing. Siren's Call: Escape Velocity has now been programmed and tested to the point where I am now confident in its quality. While not technically 100% complete yet, only the translations and new music have yet to be added (these are still being worked on). Essentially, as the programmer, I've done nearly everything I can do with what I have. About every bug I could find over this 6 year period has been fixed (I hope) and it is completely playable from start to finish. We are in the end game.

There are just a few things left:

1. The two translations (Spanish and German)

2. All the new music being made/incorporated

Other than that, we are essentially done! I'm talking with Steam about bringing the game to early access soon so you guys won't have to wait much longer. I cannot WAIT to see what you all think of what we've made.
